From Audi Q3 to Q5
I traded in my 2018 Audi Q3 Premium Plus for a CPO 2019 Audi Q5 Premium Plus. The car had less than 10,000 miles when I bought it. What a difference in vehicles! I don't need the size of the Q5, but the 2020 Q3 did not impress me enough to trade into it... so I went with the Q5. The Q5 offers modern technology including smart phone integration (Apple CarPlay and Android Auto). The digital cockpit is a neat feature to have... just take the time to get familiar with it. The interior is beautifully appointed with high quality materials... I love the ambient lighting. The car is quiet on the highway and soaks up road imperfections without any problems. I have the 19" rims, I hear the larger rims makes the car feel firm. The car has decent acceleration and feels quick off the line. The gas mileage could be better. I've been driving mainly on the highway and I'm only averaging 20.8 mpg. The EPA is 23 - 27 mpg. Bummer that the advanced features like Adaptive Cruise Control and Heads Up Display are only available in the Prestige model. Overall, I am pleased with my trade. It definitely is a step up compared to my 2018 Q3.

Watch your head!
This is my 3rd Audi and my 2nd Q5. Overall I love it and it is everything I expected except for one thing. The hatchback doesn't go up as high as the 2017 version I had before. I am 5'9" and bent over to put something in the cargo area and smashed my head so hard I saw stars! My sister and brother had the same experience. They have this funky design on the edge of the hatchback door and the door doesn't go up as high as the previous model. So if you are 5'7" or taller - be warned! I consider it to be a design flaw but won't stop me from enjoying my car. Just have to remember to wear my hardhat before I put my groceries in the back!

Best for the buck for most
This is the 2nd Q5 we've owned. The first was a 2012 that I drove. After 4 years I traded it for a S# prestige which has been superb needing only a new battery in 5 years. Now my wife had driven a Mercedes CLS 500 for 13 years and nvioow yearned for a sporty SUV. While I was biased toward the Q5 from the beginning, I took her first to the local Porsche dealer where she drove a Macan and declared the load space too small and the price too high. Next she drove an Alfa Stelvio which she liked but it lacked some things then she wanted like Apple Car Play, wifi hotspot, etc. I disliked the brakes. Next up she drove a Jag E Pace which I really liked (it sounded great) and she too liked. My concern here was reliability. Then we made the trip to BMW and drove 2 X3s, one the M240i. Very nice except EVERYTHING was an extra option, part of an expensive package, etc. I was just way overpriced with no deal in sight. Then we went across the street to the Benz GLC230and a GLA. (I had owned the first edition of the GL, a 430 and we had owned a Gwagen (traded for the CLS). Anyway she thought the interior was really cheap... it was.) Then on to Volvo where she drove an XC60. Stunning interior! Overall, a real competitor and a good value. My only concern was the screen and the attention it required to do most anything on the car. Ex. Instead of simply reaching 3-4 button on the side of the seat to adjust it by feel, there were several steps on the touch screen required on the Volvo. Other than that, it was a winner. Then on to the Honda dealer to try out the new Ridgeline. Plastic, that's all. Next to last was the new Ford Edge ST, nice enough but she didn't like it. I was skeptical when the salesman immediately without my asking knocked $7000 off the price! What was the damn thing worth? Lastly, across the street, she drove the Audi Q5 Prestige, fully loaded with every possible option for $53k. Sold. She still loves it today after 18,000 miles!
