A smooth ride, even with the sport suspension. Effortless operation (one touch) of the convertible top.

Beautiful and Refined

An absolutely stunning convertable. When topless, wind and noise levels are pleasantly low. With the top up, comfort is comperable to a sedan, which is a good thing. The roof is even lined on the inside! The interior design and amenities are lavish, logical, and perfect to the touch. Audi is clearly a class leader when it comes to fit and finish. The 3.0 V6 married to the high- tech Multitronic transmission results in smooth acceleration. Power is surprisingly plentiful and fuel efficient for such a heavy car (3800 lbs). Only regret is that I didn't get the Sport Package (which will be remedied with after-market springs).

Another Lemon Review

This car is a total lemon. Had to replace the motor and turbo (Audi eventually paid for it after a threatened law suit), electrical system, CVT, multiple headlights and break lights while being told this can be due to "normal" wear and tear. Check engine light is now on for the third time (motor is only one year old) and I have spent $1500 thus far and the problem still isn't resolved. They also replaced my front tires twice before they figured out I had unusual wear because of a front end alignment problem.

Nice Near-Luxury Compromise Convertible

I went with 3x black with everything 'cept the navigation. Car is a nice compromise if you want a stylish, sporty conv., but need the back seat (kids) and a smoother, quiet ride than a roadster. MUST adjust the steering wheel and seat if adult sits in the back. Car is not 2 fast off the line due 2 it's weight. Extra structure makes the car solid & quiet. I'll probably switch 2 a roadster once my youngest is older. Drove Z3, MR2 Spider, C70, Honda, etc. This car beats them for driving comfort, but doesn't have that shot-out-of-a-canon feel... It beats the Lexus for design. Had problems with the rear windows not going down the whole way.

Great Car in Need of a Few Minor Fixes

Have had the A4 V6 Cabriolet for 3 months. Very enjoyable to drive, and very tightly built. Have had a number of convertibles before, but this is the first 4 seater. Tested the BMW 3 series convertible and the Merc 320 clk convertible the Audi was the best allrounder. Good room in the rear with good leg room and a good size trunk (for a convertible) even with the top down.
