A Spec AWD: The Good- Very comfortable driving experience. No lack of power at all. As cars become screen oriented, this car maintains manual HVAC, mirrors and glove compartment controls. I've driven Tesla, Rivian, Lucid and others and the ergonomics with manual controls for these functions is superior to adjustments requiring distracting ones self from driving to look at menus to make adjustments. The android based OS makes it very easy to use for Android Phone users. Very spacious. Mine had a great build quality except the hood gap on the drivers side seems large. No squeaks, or rattles. Metallic white finish appears flawless. Lots of storage. Very comfortable real leather seats with heating/ventilation. The less good- Sloppy engineering up front. There is a huge hood and underneath it is a lot of wasted space. Not engineering a frunk was lazy and poor market research. Cold weather range plummets by 1/3 if using all heat options (Pre-heating plugged in highly recommended) but that seems endemic to EVs. The phone app is a mess with intermittent connectivity. Overall appealing interior, but a few hard plastic parts. Interior assembly appears very good. Dismissing this vehicle because it is "GM" and because of the MSRP may be short sighted. It is heavily discounted and although nothing is perfect it is mostly a pleasure to drive. Emporia home charger recommended. All cars now have quirks. This car makes EV live pretty easy.

Great car !
So me and my wife purchased this car , and at first we were kinda nervous knowing that this would be our first electric car and needless to say we’ve loved every bit of it ! Stylish, fast and a purely amazing vehicle ! One thing I will say to anyone looking to buy this vehicle , all electric car company’s have battery issues or issues with some of the electric so when you go and read reviews just take in mind that this can definitely happen with any electric car . My friend has had a Tesla,Rivion and then a Acura ZDX as well and has said that this is probably the best electric car he has owned by far !!!!!

ZDX disapointment
Leased a Type S in October of 2024. The vehicle has experienced multiple repeatable issues with the service brake assist, which disables regenerative braking and reduces overall range. Other random problems also frequently occur from sensors incorrectly jolting the vehicle to reverse stops with nothing in the way to pixelation of the infotainment screen, reduced range, slow charging speeds... need to I go on. The remote vehicle features may work 1 or 20 attempts. To make matters worse, Acura seems not to be tuned in to these customer issues. After 6 trips to the dealer and multiple calls to the customer center, we finally have a case open. So far, the vehicle has been an incredible disappointment due to these issues. Making matters worse, American Honda is slow to recognize they have serious quality issues with their GM-manufactured vehicles. If you are considering this vehicle, don't take my word for it. Do yourself a favor and search Google for the numerous postings of customers with ZDX electrical issues and Acura's slow and clumbsy response in addressing the problems.

Acura Type-S "ZDX-perience"
I've owned several Acura vehicles--2003 TL Type-S and the 2012 TL--which were amazing cars (so I was skeptical about driving the ZDX). Although it's an EV inbreed with GMC/Acura DNA, I'm amazed at how well she drives/handles, how comfortable the seats are, at the quality invested into the sound system/technology within this SUV, and how stylish she looks. The only knock is the price (however, I've had 25K knocked off of my leased Type-S) which I'm definitely enjoying!!! Trust me, don't go off of all the hearsay (I highly recommend test driving one) for an experience beyond measure!

Awesome
Make sure you have a home charger before buying. If you don’t have a charger, finding a charger for daily use is a pain in the neck. Other than that the car is terrific. It’s fast, quiet, smooth, comfortable, luxurious… I have been an Acura buyer for more than 20 years and this car certainly lives up to its Herritage.
