  You are forgiven...It confirmed what I suspected. There are even icons to identify what "up and down" does. I am enjoying every mile in my Diamante. In one year, I must use its sale as a down payment for a truck to tow my RV as a full time traveler. Adios, Jerry Jerry

  My bad. That dial is to the right of your center vents.

  There's a dial to the left of your center vents. Turning that dial up reduces air flow. Turning it down increases air flow.

  I had the same thing happen right when I picked up m rig.. (2002) they made me pay for parts, but the labor was picked up.. any yeah, it does not sound like a fun one..

  I had antifreeze leakage on the driver's side carpet, odor and residue on inside of the windows -fog. (2002, 6 cyl., 3.5 liter). The Mitsubishi Service "greeter" told me the the heater core was on the passenger side and that the dampness under the driver's feet might be from a hole - going through water!   Have a 98 Diamante, heater core leak at around 38K to 40K miles, was cover by extended warranty.

I have 55,600 miles now and thank God I have met that problem yet but I had to replace two of my engine mounts . That cost me 563.00 at the dealer.   I have been told by the dealer that my heater core needs to be replaced. It was leaking antifreeze onto the passenger side floor. The car only has 45,000 miles on it so this seems like something that may have been a manufactors defect. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem and if mitsubishi had recalled this part.   I trust you had the transmission replaced under warranty and at no cost? Did anyone touch it (i.e. replace the fluid) prior to that? As to the brakes, there is no known design or manufacturing defect that makes a Diamante have brake pulsation every 5-7000 miles.   In the past some of you Diamante fans have asked when the Diamante model will change. The Diamante is imported from Australia where it is called the Verada. Looking at the current Verada gives a hint of what they may export for a Diamante in the future. Though the 2001 model remains unchanged, there is supposed to be a facelift in 2002 or 2003.
