Update: Back to the dealership. Asked service to check the tires. All four overinflated, and ALL different....two way over 40; should be 32. The ride is better (don't feel every pebble in the road), but the ride is still way too bumpy. Suspension is terrible. The seats are so uncomfortable, have to use a four inch cushion to make it tolerable. Have no idea why anyone would buy this car.Report it
by the way, if you want car with a great handling, the suspention has to be firm, the 3 has almost no body lean when you make turns, unlike most the compact cars. in fact, that is one character of Mazda in general. it is indeed a drivers car.Report it
Test drove another just like this one....but the one I leased was in the showroom. I commented on the bumpy test drive and response was it's a bumpy road. The car came highly recommended (friend). This is a car people should drive for at least a day before signing on. Have never had such a bad ride....and have driven lots of cars, big and small. Even the Hyundai Accent and Ford Focus were a better ride. Hey! If you like that kind of ride, good for you.Report it
to 99 intrigue1: I think you should be looking a corolla instead 3, I have a 3 and I love the ride, it actually have connection with road, it is firm ride, but that is the character of 3, that is why people love them. if you drive the bmws, they have the same kind suspention. that is where the driving fun came from. that is why every car critics love them. good luck finding a softer compact.Report it
