    Thanks for the tip. I tlaked to Ford afew times about the CAT issue and they all said the cats have to be there. As for the axhaust system, I believe I will go dual. Not sure how the muffler shop will do it. I have not talked with my muffler guy in awhile. I did think about a three inch system on my Vic, but that would look kinda funny, ... Read More

    I knew it was either the 1997 or 1998 Town Car that was reduced in size. But I was not sure which. I thank you for helping with that.   Actually, the 1984 and 1985 LTD Brougham and Marquis Brougham were both available with an optional 5.0L V8.
