Engine A general problem with this vehicle is the failure of the Intake Air System. Problems due to leaks in the Intake Air System can result in a poor running engine, and can cause the Malfunction Indicator Lamp to illuminate. An occasional problem on this vehicle is the failure of the Motronic Control Unit. Failure of the Motronic Control Unit is due to water intrusion. This condition is identified in TSB #41 03 93.
