V70 wagon with a large cargo area
This car now has 161,000 miles and we are very pleased with it. The only negative is that the rubber around the window and luggage rack has decomposed and I have patched it but occasionally leaks…..
Sleeper
I have owned my wagon for 4 years. It has 233000 kilometres on it and has been extremely reliable.I am a retired automotive mechanic,so I showed it some love(overdue maintenance) when I first bought it.What a solid car. It’s powerful, reliable, and practical.I pull a utility trailer with it,and with the huge Brembo brakes you would never know the trailer is there.I get good fuel economy considering the horsepower. There is lots of cargo space.Great for dog owners like myself. It also has what are probably the best seats in the Automotive industry. These are not disposable cars, but you HAVE to do the maintenance if you want reliability

Take a test drive u won't be sorry
I traded in my old A6 Avant. This is an excellent car, Always makes you feel confindent to step on the gas. In bumper to bumper traffic you are pampered by one of the best sound systems on the market and a comfort set suspension. On the open road you can gun it, the suspension and stearing are flawless. And best of all very few people know what you got under the hood. GREAT CAR!!!!!
Three shortcomings on 2004 Volvo V70
My Volvo V70's worst, and potentially dangerous feature, is the tilt of the windshield. The top of the windshield is reflected in the window, making it very, very difficult to see the road when the sun hits the windshield at a certain angle. Second worst feature is the curve of the hood which does not permit the driver to see where the car ends. The hood just disappears and you have no idea how much room there is between the front of the car (or the right hand side of the car) and a wall or other object. These two items represent very poor design. Thirdly, on several occasions the car doors locked accidentally while driving.
Dead Volvo!
This was my fourth Volvo. Loved them! But this one died. Maple Hill Volvo in Kalamazoo, MI had it for 5 weeks and could not fix it. No more Volvos for me! Nope, I will never have another Volvo!
