I am very happy with my Green Rave 2001 GTI 1.8T, it is the best car I have ever owned, everything is perfect with it - I still cant beleive the power and performance that it has. I recommend VWs to anyone I know..

I love my 2002 180hp GTI! I switched from a Sunfire GT to a VW, and I never looked back! The VW is a much more capable car in every way! No other car in it's class can compete with it. I just came back from a camping trip, where I turned my German cruise missile into a stationwagon (folding down the rear seats). We carried everything, and people were amazed at how much we could fit in the GTI! Did I mention it was very fast?

In the 18 months I've had it, Its a fun car to drive. I have the 15" wheels I would suggest the the 16" or the 17". Very smooth and quiet for such a small car. No real problems yet other than a dome light switch. With the 1.8T 5 speed was disapointed with the mileage at first 26-27 city but has picked up to 30+ city after 15,000 miles.

This is my 3rd VW that I have owned and it is the best. I also own a Lexus and a Acura so I think I have a good comparison in the quality department. I had looked at BMW but for the price this GTI is better, even than most cars at 50% higher price maybe even double the price. Quality is online with Acura but not as good as my Lexus. The ride is very comfortable. I am very happy with the car

i think for $25,000 thisis the car to get if you looking for somthing good looking inside and out. Lot of fun to drive since you get a lot from it s v6 engine combined with the very luxurious looks inside. Yet it's kryptonite is the reliability. Since i bought it i hadit more in service garage than in mine.
