Great spacious and sustainable SUV

2024 Volvo XC90
This is my second XC90 Plug-in Hybrid. We are 5 in my family, and having a third row means we can bring friends or relatives along. Now that two of my kids have team sports I can bring them along with 4 other friends. We drive between 12 and 60 miles a day, depending if my wife or I take the car. In my office I can charge the car. At hole we have a 230 volts charger. Our first gas tank … lasted for 3 months. We basically need to refill whenever we go for road trips. I love that sustainable aspect. I really like the safety features, in particular, the pilot assist. Being able to follow the car in front all the way toa full stop in traffic is great! But having the capability to keep you centered in your lane as long as it is painted, is fantastic. I basically keep a hand in the wheel so it senses it but all the turning, acceleration and breaking is done by the car when in the highway. It makes driving less tiring and more enjoyable. It is also very quiet. Not just when running fully electric, but because it does a good job isolating outside noise. It also has a great air filtration system. I can barely smell any bad outside odors when driving, specially handy when driving behind smoky cars. Seats are comfortable, and the third road is not bad, although you might need to move the 2nd row seats forward a bit if your guest’s sitting in third row are taller. Plenty of space in the trunk with the third row down. With that one up, you do have less room. The car also has great visibility looking forward. The apple maps with CarPlay now also show in the display behind the steering wheel. I still think it looks sharp and have no complains.
