I was very excited to purchase a 2019 Ford Fusion in Sept from Stokes Hodges Ford. In the two months we have owned the vehicle they have had it in service almost as long as we have. Although it was "certified" pre-owned, to date they have replaced a wheel bearing, the ENGINE, the battery and now we are having electrical issues that they are "unable to duplicate" although we were able to duplicate within 2 hours of the last "repair" and we have video recordings of the issues occurring on multiple occasions. First they offered to put us in a new vehicle but because they wont give us credit for the down payment and trade-in we used for the first vehicle, they want us to pay another $2,000. We have attempted to resolve this issue with the sales manager, Austin but it seems he is only out to make $$$ and not do what is right for the consumer. It is unfortunate that we traded in my car for a 2019 "hassle free" option at this dealership.

This dealership leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to after purchase services. Since they are a stand alone franchise you would think that since I purchased a care here they would have information regarding how I should make a lease payment. But not only are the receptionists rude and completely unwilling to help but apparently no one at this dealership is able to answer the phone or return a voicemail message. I was handed off to voicemail 6 times in one day. The corporate arm that they transferred me to did not answer the phone and hung up on me 3 times. They don't answer their emails either. It looks like they are only interested in selling you a car, but if you want to do something as complicated as make a car payment on time, they don't have any interest in helping.

Was close to making a deal for a purchase on a truck with them and when I informed them I was not interested in their “Plattner package” for ~$3800 they informed me that they would not sell me the truck without it and that it was better than the $6k they normally charge for it because they aren’t including lifetime oil changes. It would only include paint protection and LoJack. When I told them I’m not interested in those, they then said I was getting a great deal because they matched the trade in offer another dealership made me when Plattner/Chiefland Ford was under by $5,000 dollars on their initial offer. This dealership seems to be trying to cash in on the market, but is definitely adding on items clients don’t want for much more $$$ than it’s worth. Then they try to gaslight you saying the fees aren’t unreasonable and other dealerships have fees too as if people haven’t purchased vehicles and know what services cost and what fees are and aren’t required. The other side of this market is going to be unkind to them… people remember how dealerships carry themselves in these types of markets

Dealer Review:
This dealer uses bait and switch on the pricing, BUYER BEWARE. You see the advertised price and yes, we all know they add dealer fees that is fine as the normal. What you can see in the fine print is “reconditioning fees may be extra”. At the end of the day, I was misled the car ended costing with the dealer fee and the recondition fee over 2k more than the website sticker price. I saved copies of all this shared with the GM of the dealership, which one of his lackeys sent a crappy response. There was also an issue with a service light that would not go out and dealer did not reset, I had to push to get this done. I was told I bought the car AS IS. Really you charged me for reconditioning but did not fully reset the car, quite honestly, I am not even sure you serviced the damn car. This is a very shady dealership I find it very hard to believe that Volvo allows these kinds of shady tactics. I will be sharing my story with everyone including McGrath ownership. Just be aware when you walk into the dealership more than likely you are going to get hosed then treated like garbage after the sale.

I would not recommend purchasing a vehicle from Brandon Ford. I ordered a new Bronco which took several months to arrive. When I ordered the vehicle Brandon Ford was tacking on a $795 Dealer Fee which I thought was shameful of them, but with their high volume, I hoped for a better chance of getting the vehicle sooner (turned out not to make any difference). The Bronco did finally arrive but between the time I ordered and the time it arrived, Brandon Ford increased their Dealer Fee to $1295. After waiting for more than a year for the vehicle I had little choice but to pay the $1295 Dealer Fee or walk away. I have a reservation for a new Ford Lightning that I am going to move to another dealership. I would highly recommend you go to almost any other Ford dealer instead of Brandon Ford because of the ridiculous non-negotiable $1295 Dealer Fee they tack on to every purchase. Simply avoid Brandon Ford and look elsewhere.
