Dealer Review:

Ourisman Honda of Laurel is the worst dealership in the area. The experience I had with them was unbelievable. They are very dishonest with their customers and the customer service is the worst. I had made a deal with one of the sales people on a bottom line number however, I asked several times about the mileage on the 2019 vehicle I had planned to purchase from them. I was told that the cars were brand new. Therefore, I am thinking as a consumer brand new means little miles like 15 or less, give or take. Well the sales person decided to tell me the real miles while I was in route to the dealership. It was 128 on one car and 50 on the other. If I wanted a demo car, I would have asked for one. I called the owner of Ourisman and never heard back from him; one of the rude managers called from corporate by the way was useless. I spoke with the GM and he stated that the cars are brand new. I told him that I specifically asked for little miles and that it was deceitful to tell me while I was in route that the cars had that many miles. The GM, also told me that there is no car dealership that will have a car with less than 30 miles on them. I told him that is NOT true because I had purchased a new car before and it had 12 miles. Nonetheless, after all the unnecessary back and forth with the dealership I took my business elsewhere where they had five cars of my choice with 6-14 miles on the cars. Keep driving pass Ourisman Honda of Laurel because you will not receive the customer you should receive especially when you are paying cash.

Avoid this dealership if you're out of state! Over three hours, I messaged a rep to get details on a vehicle. When I I was going to drive two hours from out of state, the rep had the manger call to tell me someone else was coming in 30 minutes to look at it. I offered to buy it over the phone and even sent a picture of the cashiers check for full price plus fees. The manager, Brian, said he would call me as soon as the potential buyers left. Three hours later I called him back and he said they were still in the store and he'd call me when they left. He never did! There's definitely something fishy about their low priced vehicles online. I had a cashiers check in hand to buy something for sale, and they wouldn't let me buy it. Business must be booming there, or they're being shady. Just because you're talking to the ring leader of the circus, Brian, don't assume you're getting an honest professional. I regret wasting my time and energy trying to do business with ciocca Honda, don't waste yous!

I am royally ticked at this being the WORST dealership I have ever stepped into in my entire life. I called an hour ahead (because I live an hour away) to see a vehicle that was listed on multiple seller websites, excited about the price and specs of the car as well as the fact that I had a certified Nissan to trade in as a bargaining chip. Not only did I NOT get to see the car, Daniel RAN MY CREDIT without my permission. He didn't even OFFER to let me see the car. Mind you, the running of my credit happened within 15 minutes of me walking across the dealership's threshold. With my ID in hand, I thought Daniel was looking up my information on the car I was interested in trading in (seeing as I bought it at a Nissan dealership). Instead of actually showing me the car I was drove to see first, his primary concern was to pull a full report of my credit. I didn't realize this until after Daniel was angrily clicking away on his computer and after several minutes of silence said "I am not sure why your credit report isn't pulling up." ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Stunned into mere silence, I regained my brain pistons and was actually able to summon some halfway decent reasoning speech. Shortly after all of this hullabaloo, the negligent, unprofessional and awkward team at Nissan had the audacity to report that they had LOST THE KEY to the vehicle I had come to see. Do you think they maybe would have discovered this pivotal piece of information BEFORE I DROVE AN HOUR in traffic and a storm to get there? I guess not. As the sun happened to disappear, I was welcomed to look at a dirty car that was apparently "selling slowly" and had been listed for over 80 days. Nissan didn't institute a single wimpy vacuuming or wipe down of the car. Through the window in the DARK I could see how disgusting it was. I am now in the process of challenging the run of my credit. Second step, to figure out how to blast the truth behind this unbelievably uneducated dealership to protect those considering stepping foot inside. How they can continue to make any revenue in sales after the display I saw and experienced is beyond me. It was an act of mere chance that I didn't do business with Nissan of Richmond. At having the opportunity to see the level of amateur dealership "professionalism" I was able to walk away with my money in tact and a hard pull on my credit report. To think that they are housed in one of the most popular stretches of road in Richmond for shopping and food, etc... Embarrassing for Richmond and embarrassing for the name of Nissan. I called and confirmed a specific car with stock number was available and ready for purchase because I had a 2.5hr drive to get to the dealership. I was assured it was all set and so we set off. When we arrived, they could not find the car and then after 3 test drives of similar, vehicles, they found the car but not the keys because it was at the upholstery shop of the dealer. They have a million cars, but do not take the time to clean anything very well and we watched as they parked cars we did not want back from where they came. I can't imagine why we have COVID19 everywhere in North Carolina! They get one star only because I have to pick something!
