The Best
I searched for months for the best new small car. This Yaris is even better than the professional ratings. This car is energetic, maneuverable, gutsy, cheap to run, responsive, fun, good looking, quiet. Combines economy and power. Runs forever on $10 of gas.
Definitely a vehicle worth owning
We have owned numerous small cars over the years. The Yaris 2D HB is overall an excellent small car. For its size, it rides well, handles decent, does well in winter (with good tires), has a functional and comfortable interior, is easy to service (oil changes) and the exterior looks good. This is our first Toyota and in spite of the negative press Toyota has received lately, this car has never failed us. We bought this car used with 13,000 miles on it. We now have just over 40,000 miles on it after almost two years. We average 36 MPG in winter and 40 MPG in summer. Mostly driven on country roads with some city/town driving.

Trooper
I bought my 2007 yaris 3 years ago expecting it to be a temporary car until I could get a new one, it has not failed me once. I've driven over mountain passes in the dead of winter and it stayed strong. I've beat the tar out of this thing and it has never once broke down. 300k miles without any replaced parts and it runs great.

Yaris, my perfect companion
I have loved this car from the day I drove it off the lot nine years ago. It had 41 thousand and now it has 171 thousand and still drives like it did the day I bought it. Best car I have owned and I intend to buy another when this one quits.

Basic no frill delivery car
Beware if you're my height, 6'4" your left foot is going to be severely cramped after driving more than 1 hour in this car. Storage for delivery is okay but not as good as our Versa Note, miles per gallon has been steady between 29-32 mpg, the radio is basic, the speedometer location is perfect for a tiny car of it's size. It only has 51000 miles and the transmission is already acting up, odd for a Toyota, it hasn't been beaten either. Brakes are okay, road grip is basic and tire size is tiny as well. All in all, good basic no frill car but beware of minor problems, storage space is lacking big time.
