Very impressed with my first truck I purchased for occasional trip to Home Depot. I got the TRD Sport Package and thought that is the most practical option. The truck is amazingly well equiped for its relatively low price.

Awesome truck! I previously owned a 2004 Chevy Silverado and went to the 2006 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road, and have no complaints! The off road capabilities are amazing and with the 4.0 engine, you can do just about anything and go anywhere. This truck can do it all, from launch a boat to rough trails in the desert! in addition to off road the tacoma handles extremly well on surface streets. All around GREAT truck!

Get The "Platinum" Warranty

I drive the hell out of this truck. Not too many complaints. Does a funny thing at stops, acts like it wants to keep going even though I have my foot on the brake. Almost feels like someone bumps you from behind. Compass/temp gauge went out and it wasn't covered by the warranty. They wanted $1100 to fix it, telling me the "Gold" warranty doesn't cover that, only the "Platinum". I took the unit apart and fixed it myself in about ten minutes. Seems like it goes through a lot of batteries too, four in 2 1/2 yrs.

Tacoma is great! Bought for weekend fun and family hauler. Leather seats are so comfortable. Best part is it fits in the garage.

This is my 2nd Toyota truck I've owned. I will soon part w/my T100. I am really enjoying my new Tacoma. It's comfortable and roomy with just the right amount of horsepower.
