purchased 8/20/04 of 2005 model with increased horsepower [42hp over 2004 model] acceleration is fine. purchased car @ 3500 below msrp. was first 2005 to arrive at dealership and bought it six hours later. previous landcruiser owner and am very satisfied with sequoia even though it is not a 4wd vehicle.

Very nice and very reliable, the only problem with Sequoia 05 is there is NO automatic door hatch in the back and its hard to operate when it rains or when you have something in your hand and consumes a lot of gas,but the rest is ok it's very powerful.

All Seqouias that I have seen from 2002-2009 all had similar issues(check engine light, rear window and wiper stop functioning, key fobs break, window rubber gaskets dry and crack, and wheel caps fall off. My brother owns a 2002 Seqouia limited and two friends own 2007 and 2008 Seqouias, all with the same issues. My ‘05 is my first and last Toyota. Never, ever again! Sold the sequoia back in August. Had to replace the rear door latch(which is all plastic) with an all metal latch and the overhead console because the garage door opener button broke. Toyota……Never Again!
