Loved it so much we purchased another
Purchased our C 2 on Halloween 2012 after much research , car trying & bargaining with dealers. We needed to save GAS $$ because one of us was driving 12 hours every weekend & with 2 kids in college - budget was tight. Non of the other gas saving , budget cars felt just right until this one. We went for the 2 because the extra $$ for the 3 didn't seem to be worth it for us. After 9 months & about 24,000 miles , we are VERY happy with this car & are surprised by how much fun it is to drive. In the beginning we would have competitions to see who would get the best ECO score & MPG- if you go totally EV for long stretches 99 MPG is possible. Now we just drive & get 44-51 MPG. Save over $200 pm . UPDATE : After a year of satisfied ownership we purchased a second ( not to mention the great tax rebate we got on the 1 st ) . Got the next model up for the same price I had purchased the 1 st at - still not worth the upgrade.ONlY CON Is - The 2013 GPS touch screen is in a bad position and the sun shines on it so it is hard to see. Not sure if they improved that now. We are just glad we didn't pay extra for the upgraded model. Update #2 now 6 years old - College grad daughter still has it , has safely navigated the route in ALL weather from OH to NY , OH- VA , IN - GA , IN - VA &VA - SC . She is now in Grad school. Moved herself from OH - IN and then IN - VA . Car was jammed but her full sized IKEA bed frame fit in. Hardly any maintenance needed. No idea how many miles on the clock right now but it has to be over 150,000 because the 2013 model is close to that. JUST LOVE these cars , could afford something more fancy now but can not justify trading them in. Update #3 2021- both still going strong just cant beat them . My only wish is that Toyota made a truck with this ‘ make your own energy system’ then I would be ready to trade the 2013 that I drive . For now I use my husband’s F150 when I need to tow the horse trailer.

A good city commuter
Our PC2 is our second Prius. Bought a 2002 Prius new. I like the 2002 more, even though the PC2's improved technology is nice. Our 2002 Prius feels more solid with more power. Its MPG improved to the mid-40s when Toyota replaced the hybrid battery at no cost. I bought the PC2 because I wanted a small hybrid to drive around Honolulu, not a full size Prius.

I Love my Baby Prius
I bought my car back in Mach. I Received the first Prius C from the dealership because I had bough the car without ever seen it in person. I am very pleased and happy with the result. This car is so fun to drive. I am averaging 51 mpg. I drive about 50% city and 50% Highway. It is true that the car could use more horsepower but that is the price I paid for the mpg. This car was meant for city driving and it does decently in highway. I don't understand why people keep complaining about the car. The car is reliable and fun to drive. I am a happy customer but if people want a car with specific expectations, then they should really test drive as many car so they can make the right decision.
I can't give it up!
Bought this in it's first year 2012 hoping for two things... Great Mileage and Reliability. Wasn't dissapointed and now 7 years later it nearly runs like new still getting 50 mpg! At almost two hundred K on the odometer she purrrrs, there's no sign of consiquential rust especially beneath the car and I live in NewEngland possibly the RUST capital. Original exhaulst still in great condition and never a check engine light. Changed fluids and plugs at recommended levels and had one brake job and struts in 7 years! that is it. The only way I could match this kind of maintenance is if I had an electric car. Best 20K we ever spent. This car will easily go another 1 - 200,000 miles. Better yet the aftermarket for the NMIH battery replacement if ever needed is dirt cheap. They hold their value!

This car will kill oil dependancy!
Saving me $200 a month in gasoline. 53mpg avg. Stereo sounds incredible on Prious C (4) Confortable seats and I am 5.11, rear confortable for 2 full side adults, 5 tight for the center. Only complaint, no rear camera on level 3 & 4. GPS could be better. If you want to save money this car is for you, dont expect power or luxury ride. I'll use my CR-V for long trips. Can't go wrong for commuter.
