Intangibles that you can't put a price on
There are some things that defy rational thinking and common sense...like love, and that explains why I absolutely adore and appreciate this car. Forget the little knocks that you read here, forget comparing feature sets with other vehicles. That is your rational brain. Lean into the look and feel of this beautiful LC...shift like a man like we used to, hear the roar of that turbo, count on 1 hand as you go around town and on long drives how few LC's you see on the road. This is such a unique car and it will last you for decades even when the others have gone through fads and try to capture your attention with 60 inch screens and 20 cup holders. And to say this cargo space is small, just push the middle seat down and you have 82 cubic feet! We have moved an entire house over rough road with our 1958 with no problem. Isn't that more important than lifting stuff 4 additional inches? Landcruiser people don't mind putting their back into things, they enjoy lifting the trunk, they love the manual cloth seats. If that's not you, have fun with your telluride. I am sure alot of people feel similarly about their Broncos ( not Bronco sport, which are quite pathetic). And I did too...really like that car but fate made me test drive these back to back and there is no comparison in my opinion. If you mostly off-road, then I can see where why you'd disagree.

My Love Affair with my Blue Beluga
This is a dream vehicle as it is so damn capable, will take you wherever you want to go and it looks good doing it. I wish there were more accessories to doll up this brute, but as it gets into the mainstream everyone will be jumping on that bandwagon. We have the Heritage Blue and even though we live in Western Washington have never seen another one.

1958 base model
Love mine so far. Handles great and decent gas mileage. Visibility is fantastic and interior space is large. Retro look and feel with modern technology. Gas tank is very small- filling up a lot. Smooth ride.
