this is the best car I ever encountered. It's the most durable and dependable of all time. Ever since I bought it, the only thing I had to change is tire, brake, and oil and filters. No other item need to be replaced.

Bought a 2008 in 2014, in 2021 remains reliable, maneuverable, great pick up. Love this car. So versatile, from moving to commuting, to trucking dogs and kids. Back seat goes from bench to split. Nice, nice car, and. Burgundy color is beautiful.

Year and a half prior 8 years as a owner

Purchase 2016 Highlander, love but wished gas mileage was better. I had a 2008 prior to this. Both cars are very comfortable and drives like a car. Very few repairs, light bulb headlight, cabin air filter, tires and battery in 9 years. I would call that great. New car so far nothing but normal maintenance. My 2008 sold for 15k, paid 31k so held a great resale value.

I purchased the Highlander to have a reliable, economical to drive, and comfortable vehicle for long trips and for around town. It does it all. Quiet smooth ride, 21mpg around town, 26mpg Interstate. Power enough to pull my pontoon boat, yet easy to handle. Everyone remarks on how quiet the ride is, and the JBL stereo with sateite sounds great.
