Best Bang For Your Buck
I bought my Highlander Limited recently after 4 months of looking and test driving lots other vehicles. Compared to the Lexus RX, Acura MDX, Lincoln MKX, BMW X3, MB ML350, and Infiniti FX and EX 35, my Highlander blows them away! Standard equipment includes: back up camera, rear seat change up into captains chairs, easy to read controls, AC & heat controls for the rear passengers, lots of HP, loads of trunk space (w/ 3rd seat down) and regular gas. The Blizzard Pearl color (w/gray interior) is gorgeous, and the ride is as smooth as my husband's RX 350! This car gives you a much better bang for your buck, is good to look at, and is in a class by itself. Try it, you won't be disappointed.
Great SUV but watch for oil line
Perhaps one of the best cars i have every owned. 155,000 and still going strong. One thing you need to look out for and if you Google it you will get more info on it. The oil line from the oil pump is rubber and it has known to fail ( it did with mine). If it fails when you are driving and do not stop right away you could blow the motor. Replacement is not cheap but again this truck is other than that has been VERY good to me.

water pump issues and tires
had 30,000 miles and had to replace the tires. at 52,000, had to replace the water pump. otherwise, good value and ride. gas mileage could be a little better, 19 city, 24 highway. lots of room and very consumer friendly.
Best car I've ever owned!
I've owned 3 SUVs prior to my 2008 Highlander and they all pale in comparison when it comes to reliability and performance. Aside from regular maintenance (oil changes, tune ups, etc.), the car had 1 issue in 8 years (water pump failure, covered under warranty - took an hour to fix). It has been the best ownership experience and I highly, highly recommend the vehicle!

Highland 6cy spent 0 time getting things fixed
Reliability. Only weird thing was that when the sunroof is done a vortex happens on the inside and create strange wind tunnels. Bought 1 year old, no major work after 15 years done. Just maintenance, tires, oil changes etc. 120K miles.
