Great 2nd car
Got great deal from Toyota of El Cajon. My sales man was the best. Corolla Hatchback is fun to drive and I got all the bells and whistles to make the ride enjoyable.
Issues at 46k miles
Bought my 6 speed 2021 hatchback in Aug. It's now April and the software is malfunctioning, the car has issues shifting into 1st gear, IMT revs motor really high then makes the car peel out, car keeps going into limp mode cant go faster than 5mph, it jolts and wifi Hotspot won't work nor does the car communicate with entune app. LOVED this car up until now. I praying under warranty

Cute “peppy” car
When I purchased my TCH, I was mainly looking at cars that were dependable and economical. I had already test driven a Camry (not impressed with the acceleration, etc) and Corolla (liked it better than the Camry), I did not realize the Corolla had a hatchback. The hatch back really gives a real sporty look, the cabin makes great use of space while the 2.0 gives a peppy take off and handles very well. I’ve had her 2 weeks so she really hasn’t stretched her legs yet, and, but I am crazy about this car. So proud of my purchase!

its not about the car its about the driver
its alright, not a race car but you can do some good driving with this, you can kinds drift with it, you can kinda race with it, but you will not win unless youre really good or lucky. thats how i can describe the performance for this car. but its efficient for a non hybrid. i average 35 combined mpg. it looks very nice, people love the car. i think it looks great. you can carry $300 worth of groceries if you drive alone. trunk can fit only around $100. the interior for a corolla is great. dash is clean and everything is a touch away. front seats are comfortable, back seats however cannot be used for a long trip or for very tall people. the piano black has to stop, ive already scratched and damaged the plastic after a year. sound system has already been blown out after doing max volume for about 100+ hours of loud bassy music. definitely recommend an aftermarket sound system. build quality is a 8/10 since im already getting noises from im guessing is the steering column (but that may be my fault for driving it a little rough), and the piano black like i mentioned earlier. also toyota multimedia just sucks. it works 90% of the time, but its buggy and you will notice when youre going 300k miles with it.
