Don't waste your money
Don't buy this car! With only 3,000 on it it shut down and wouldn't accelerate over 25. Dealer said it was misfiring but couldn't fix it. Then while waiting in line to pick up my daughter it just turned off on me. Needless to say I don't have this vehicle anymore. Paid way too much for unreliable camry.

Navigation subscription! No Apple/android
I was all set to purchase the $37,000 XSE V6 Camry Until I realized the lack of phone support and, that Toyota will start subscription costs for scout navigation in 2024. I want to use Google maps or Waze. Toyota made this change in Avalon for 2019, they should reconsider the change in Camry also.

UPDATED *BEST MIDSIZE SEDAN ON THE ROAD!!👍🏻👍🏻
My review didnt change! Great car! UPDATED: This is still the best midsized car on the road! I love the how u can quickly go from 0 to 60 and have a smooth luxurious ride! This car is a keeper! I will have this car for 10 years until the next best Camry comes out! FIRST REVIEW: I purchased my XSE last September. Coming from an 07 Camry SE V6. There simply is no comparison with the 301 HP and smooth drive this car has to offer; not to mention the technology it has. My car is fully loaded even has a CD player as I read a post from someone complaining about not having a CD player. The 8 generation Camry has outdone themselves 10x's over!! I can't say enough good things about this car other than you just have to drive one!!👍🏻

Sharp looking, in and out, many plastic hang on's
Really sharp looking, interior and exterior. There are way too many plastic 'air dams' front and rear, that don't work, just hung on the vehicle. Why didn't Toyota just open them up? Fast! Really quick acceleration, braking top notch, dynamic cruise control a real treat! Works better than I could have imagined. Nav okay too. Stereo super sounding, JBL system. 19" wheels very sharp in appearance and ride. Gas mileage great on the highway, not so good in the city. Think it is a bit overpriced, perhaps $5000.00 or so., but everythings high today. An addendum: After 12 months of owning this high-priced Camry, found the value has gone Down by $12,000.00. A thousand dollars a month, so, along with all that I don't care for in this vehicle, the staggering value drop is astounding.

Poor Car Stereo (JBL) and Blue Tooth
After owning 5 Camry's this one is a let down. CarMax could not fix any original issues (which I will discuss shortly) and delivered the vehicle without having the major recalls completed* So CarMax service is a separate issue. After three software up-dates and the safety correction for fuel lines this car still experiences two major issues. The JBL sound system rear speakers sound like they are blown. The 2nd dealer replaced the Navigation head and the problem remains. During normal use (radio) at 1/4~1/3 volume the rear speakers rattle and can not handle any bass. So we turned the bass down and they still rattle,. almost like the cones are blown. The Bluetooth function is terrible. Several iphones were tried and when connected get so much feedback it is impossible to talk with anyone hands free.
