One of the Best
I have purchased a new car every 2-3 years for the last 20 years. I have owned Honda/Accord EX, Nissan Altima GLE, GMC, Ford, Mercury, and Pontiac. The Toyota Avalon has been, by far, the best buy for the buck. The room and comfort alone would make it an outstanding car. The gas mileage, 22 city- 29 highway, is exceptional for a full size car. And the exceptional mileage does not jeopardize power, when needed.
Almost Perfect
I researched new cars for 4 months before deciding on the Toyota Avalon XLS. Quality, dependability, and interior space were what I wanted. The Avalon XLS is almost perfect. The ride is comfortable and solid. The back seat is large and very comortable for passengers, especially elderly people, making it easy to get in and out. I love driving this car!
Avalon
Our Avalon has 27000 miles. It's a great car. Plenty of room, great back seat, and a huge trunk. Plenty of power, and good on gas. Rides very smooth. Only had 2 problems. Breaks pulsating. Which is common for Avalons. And wood grain lifting from summer heat. Wish the outside looked as good as the inside. You get a lot of car for the money. But dont be fooled. It is not a Lexus. It doesn't ride like one or handle like one. Test drive the Volvo's and Audi's then compare the Avalon. You'll see the Avalon is a much better.
Really Good Car
You will be surprised to find such a good car at such a reasonable price. You will not drive anything less once you drive Avalon. Why would someone spend lots of money on smaller BMW ? This car is very roomy inside, you have to see it to believe it.
