Love our new 4Runner; bring on the snow!
The new 4Runner has a great rugged look. Seats and driving position are very comfortable. Handles very well for an SUV, especially tight turning radius. Rides so much better than older generations of this vehicle - very smooth on the highway and minimal wind noise. The V6 engine is very peppy and responsive - seems like fuel economy will be pretty good if we don't romp it too hard. We are looking forward to trying out the 4WD system in the Northeastern Ohio snows...
Decent Car
If you want to go off road, this vehicle will do decent. It's not nearly as good as a wrangler though. It would be better but no front or middle differentials.

Tough, rugged truck
I searched a long time for a vehicle that was right for me. I didn't like most SUVs because they either had poor gas mileage or were too small. I looked at CUVs which seemed more like a minivan alternative than a utility vehicle and not really made to go off road. The 4Runner offers good mileage (I'm getting 20 mpg combined), comfort, technology - voice command, BT, Satellite radio, rear camera, USB, Nav, etc. - so it works well for my daily driving AND is built to tow, haul, go off road - so great for getaways with the family and friends.
Great SUV
4 Runner was delivered the day before blizzard hit New York. All features really help drive the SUV in the snow, we tested it in various parking lots and rear wheel slippage is greatly reduced. My wife loves it, very roomy 1st and 2nd row. Only have 250 miles on it and averaging 15 MPG, hope it goes up.
Good driving
After driving 8 months and 12k miles I still feel this is a very comfortable and reliable truck. Good for off roading as well as daily commute. Averaging 19.5 M.P.G in mixed driving which is excellent for a 6 thousand pound vehicle having a 4.0 L V6(278 ft-lb torque). The silver color really shines. Seats high up and has a commanding view of the surrounding. Coming from a German sedan i feel like this is a must have for people who have bad roads in your town. My BMW had stiff ride, but now I never complain about those roads.
