Great on gas.. Horrible on everything else
I've had this car 2 years, bought at 60k miles. My engine has always stayed on. Transmission continuously slips. Door handle paint chips. Speakers blown out. And for some reason, it won't go out of park as of today. I've had nothing but headache out of this car and if you Google it, its just a common trouble car.

First Brand New Car
I have been driving for more years than I would like to share! I have driven all types of cars and trucks and motorcycles. (Owned a Geo Metro back in the 90s with a Suzuki engine.) And have owned 2 Suzuki motorcycles, all with excellent results. I just bought the car yesterday. My wife and I love it. We think it will meet our needs nicely. I am a big guy and I have plenty of room in this car. Nice interior, comfortable, looks great. This car is worth a look, bigger interior than the Hondas and Toyotas Take a look and compare for yourself, you will be plesantly surprised. When the "after glow" from the purchase wears off, and when I have some miles on it, I will let you know!
It gets me where I need to go (:
I love my little baby car she gets me where I need to go. I live in Alaska so that is kind of saying something haven't gotten stuck or had problems with the car starting up in the freezing cold.
See for yourself
I really can't say anything bad. One of the sharpest cars you can buy for the money. This car comes with great base model features and is much more solid than econo-cars before it. You don't buy these cars for sheer performance and gas prices should make the driver focus on doing his part, not just the car. With the money you save invest in a $99 mod-chip for even better mpg & hp. The mpg lives up to it's window-sticker quote which is more than a lot of cars can say!
Check engine nightmare
I brought my car in 2010. For the first couple of years my car was fine. Now check engine light is this car middle name. Every time I get the code read it's throttle body sensor. My mechanic called Suzuki to see about a part They told him what makes you feel it's the throttle body. The mechanic told them the diagnostic test. They said I doubt it's that. Sent a part over in a used dirty bag wasn't even the right part. 11/14 had 2 throttle bodies out in something no one is catching is what causes these throttle body issues. Computer problems perhaps?? Since the car just stopped in the middle of the street leaving me stranded i give up. Since I couldn't find anyone who can figure out why this car is using so many throttle bodies it just in my yard. Can't take the Chance I'll be stranded again.
