Best for the $$
I bought the base model (XE), king cab with 4WD (4WD adds about $3K). Even though its a "base" model, it doesn't look cheap. It has painted bumpers (which I like) instead of chrome, and steel wheels which look OK (unlike the cheap looking steel wheels you get on a Toyota SR5). Windows, mirrors and door locks are manual, but other, but criously enough it has cruise control. I paid $24K, plus tax and a $300 dealer fee, it was right at $25K out the door, they are willing on deal on these, the MSRP was $27.5K. The steering and engine have that tight, "refined" feel you would expect from a Lexus. King cab doors open 160 degrees, and there are "latch" child seat connectors in rear.
If only it had better mileage
I have been thoroughly pleased with my purchase of this truck save for the dismal gas mileage. I've taken 3 trips since my purchase back in May and the best that I've been able to get on the highway is 14-15mpg. With gas prices steadily creeping towards the $3 mark, I may have to start considering an alternative.

Titans Rock
Before I owned the Titan, I owned the Frontier, which I absolutley loved. Becoming the owner of a Titan was the best move I've made. I put it up against my brother's 4x4 chevy pick up, and there was no comparison. I went everywhere in my Titan that he went with his truck engaged in the 4x mode, and mine is not a 4x!!! He was, to say the least shocked, and is thinking of becoming an owner of a Titan as well.
Lovin my New Baby!!!
I just bought my 05 Titan about a month ago after owning a 06 Equinox for about 9 months and before that a 00 blazer for 5 yrs. I had 2 have my 4x4 back!! This truck is awesome. Very comfortable and actually handles better than my previous vehicles!!My sister had one before me and she loves her also. The fuel economy is the ONLY thing that I hate. Right now mine is averaging 12.5 mgp. Stinks, but the horsepower this truck has is incredible. I have only got to drive in a few snows this yr with it but it has done excellent. I would recommend this truck to anyone but if you're looking for fuel economy, his is not it. Overall though, I absolutely love this truck and would buy another one!!
My Truck!!!
She's BIG, STRONG, and more than capable of doing what I need done! I tried them all to before leasing my next truck, Ford, Dodge, Chevy, GMC. You name it I tested it! I've had my Titan a little over 5 months now, my oh my. I will admit it is a very thirsty truck, I spend a lot of time at the pumps but all things considered, I don't mind filling it up and going some more the truck just goes! I love it. I towed an 8,000lb trailer from Everett Wa. Down to San Diego Ca. in a little under 22 hours this truck tows like nothing else on earth!! Over mountain passes you name it who needs heavy duty? Fantastic job Nissan you now have a believer!!!
