Leaky AW drivetrain

Shortly after the Murano warranty expired the drive train developed a leak. The local dealer Wallace stated Nissan would likely help fix the problem, but then charged $2600 repair with no nelp from Nissan. They did provide a loaner for a week.

Just got car and happy so far

I bought a murano based on one I had previously. I am happy with the car so far but have only had it a few weeks so ant really rate a lot of the categories. One thing I wish they had done better is the customization of the dash display, you can customize somewhat, but not completely, and some of the things they did seem just odd to me. For example, when you turn on navigation you lose the compass, and if you did play audio what you see is what station you are listening to, not what they are playing. I am coming back from a Cadillac sex which I could make look exactly as I wanted so I guess I am just being picky.

Reliable, and good gas mileage for a heavy AWD SUV. The only negative is the somewhat restricted vision due to the posts and shape of the hood.

Thought I would miss my Lexus

Teena, 08/12/2019

Drove Lexus for 20 years. AC went out in my 2010 ES350 and dealer wanted $3k to replace. I traded it on a 2017 Murano Platinum Midnight Edition - used. I've only had the Murano a week but I must say, I haven't missed my Lexus! The ride is very good and I really like the interior. The seats are the most comfortable I've experienced. The center console did have a couple scratches and I'd read other reviews saying the material does scratch easily. The CVT transmission is new to me but the car performs smoothly and I don't miss the shifting sensation. Love the styling and safety features. I found the Navigation and Blue Tooth features very intuitive and easy to use.
