67,000 miles strong
I bought my S AWD Murano used with 9K demo miles on it. I love it as much today as when I bought it. I did have a noise come from the CVT transmission at 30K miles, it didn't break but was making a tick noise so Nissan provided me with a rental and replaced it with a new one. Since then I have Zero problems with the car other than regular maintenance. The original tires lasted me 66K miles. If I had to replace it today with someone else on the market I would get a 2011 Murano. During Chicago's blizzard last winter and with nearly bald tires I was still able to drive through 10 inches plus of snow without getting stuck!
Never purchase a Nissan Murano again!!!
Transmission was slipping around 113,000 miles. Took it to Nissan they said it just needed to be reset. At 129,000 miles the transmission went completely out. Still paying on a car monthly that's sitting in my driveway. Already paid for the radiator, catalyst converter, and exhaust pipe. Cannot afford another thing. Trying to replace the car or voluntary repo. So sad!!

Fantastic car.
Nissan murano is the best car i ever owned, no problems, fun to drive, very good looking inside and outside, Bose surround system included, could not be happier, THE ONLY NEGATIVE side on the truck is how expensive the gas is, (is better on highway, that inside the city with traffic), but the MURANO is so cool and reliable that you sacrifice that part for having a fantastic car.
Nissan Sucks
I am a single lady, fifty years old. Bought my Murano new, thought I was getting a car that would last. It now has 124,000 miles on it.. It's on the third transmission. I had to get loan for this transmission and they are terrible. I also have had tons of trouble with ac.. and there are wiring issues too. I may never be able to buy another new car in my life since my husband passed. So this has hurt me bad and continues to do so.

A Turkey in the Driveway.
I traded my totally reliable 2008 Honda CR-V in for my Murano. And at less than two weeks old and with 760 miles on the odometer, I was greeted Thanksgiving day with a car that was totally dead. Nothing worked. The dealer told me that I was not the first owner to have this happen. A power module had to be replaced. I lucked out. My car was in the driveway. The car ran perfect up to that point. I drive 80 miles one way to work and hope that the problem doesn't repeat itself while I am away from home. Let's see how well Nissan repairs it's cars.
