Used 2020 Nissan Frontier Consumer Reviews
Worth it!
Shopped around for about 3 months before deciding on the Frontier due to reliability and price. Bought the SV Midnight Edition in the Magnetic Black Pearl. This vehicle in the black on black with the 18 inch wheels is smokin' hot to look at. I've had many compliments on it. The vehicle platform may be a bit dated compared to some other mid sized sport trucks, but it is a proven platform with probably the best 4.0 litre 6 cylinder engine on the market. With 261 hp and 281 lbs. of torque, it will move pretty good. Interior is good and very functional. I'm not one of those people that need a whole bunch of gadgets and electronic inside. I drove it off the lot with 8 miles on the odometer, and the only issue I have is that I do wish it got a bit better gas mileage. My last vehicle was a compact 4 cylinder, so I guess I got spoiled on 35-38 mpg. Overall, a reliable proven platform that performs and is great for my needs. $29,000 for a top model special edition truck that compares favorably to other brand trucks that start at $30,000+!

Midnight edition
I purchased a 2019 sc midnight edition with the double cab 4x4. When I bought it it had 29 miles. After 1 week of ownership I enjoy the beauty of simplicity in this truck. The interior is very dated but it also appears like it will hold up for a long time. The stereo has good sound for a base stereo. The exterior looks great even after 15 years of no changes. All the reviews I have found have seemed to be positive in regards to reliability. I know the old radiators has a transmission/ coolant mix problem, but everything I found seems like it was fixed around 2010/12. Also the issue with the timing chain guide was fixed after 2010. The truck is surprisingly roomy for how small it is. Seats are comfy and has good outward visibility all around. The midnight edition gives black 18’ wheels and blacked out badges which look incredible. They also had a promo to give the value pack for free. The steering radius is big but my old ram was worse. The main reason for buying the truck was the reliability and price. I looked for Tacoma’s and the gladiator and ranger. But the cost was way to high for a similarly equipped truck. Overall, I’m very happy with the truck it does everything I need. And I’m hopeful that the Nissan reliability will hold true for my truck as well. I will try to update the review once I have put more miles on it.

2018 Frontier
I was looking for a replacement for my 2005 Ford Sportrac. I went to all the different dealers to see the Tacoma, Colorado and Ridgeline. I liked the Ridgeline the best....but then I got sticker shock of almost $38K for what I wanted. I decided that that was way too much and dropped back to my second choice...the Frontier SV...which I purchased with all taxes and dealer junk costs for under $28K. It also included step rails on the truck. The 6cyl engine gives me plenty of power and I average 20 mpg. The controls are nice and simple which for my simple brain is just fine. The only downside to the truck is the ride tight and a bit rough. The the sound proofing could be improved. No to any squeaks. Overall, I'm very please with my simple truck.

Best 4x4 Midsize Truck For The Money
No other midsize truck even comes close when you consider price. I have the Crew Cab SV 4x4 and it has exceeded every expectation I had. Very impressed with the power, ride and quality. I’m even averaging 20mpg around town, way better than the sticker and lots of reviews online report. I couldn’t be happier with this truck!

Best Midsize and Value Truck on the market!!
I was looking for dependable V6, 4x4, crew cab truck for <$30k and found the Nissan Frontier. It has great power and torque. Plus, it fits in my garage because it is the shortest midsize truck on the market. The seating is way more comfortable vs Tacoma and the price was $13k cheaper. The negative is the turn radius because it is a truck and not a cross over vehicle.
