JCW
Love , love this car. I bought a JCW and it's clearly a car for people who love to drive. My previous car was an Audi TDI that was bought back by Audi as part of the diesel gate. I looked into a new GTI but they're made in Mexico, not buying a German car made in Mexico. I contemplated buying another Audi but wanted to try something completely different this time. There is nothing practical about this car. It's really just a two seater with an average size trunk. Other two seaters are just too small for my height (over6'). It gets good mpg but the tank is too small. The most disappointing thing about the purchase was the buying process. There is only one MINI dearer in my city and it's either pay their price or don't and they only had one JCW conv. . I was able to negotiate a little off their price but according to Edmunds I still paid too much. I have had the car for three months and have had no problems. Although I am really enjoying this car and have no serious complaints right now I'm sorry to say but it will probably be my only MINI purchase. Next time I go back to another German car.
Amazing

Great Car
As others have said this car is an absolute blast to drive. Its fast, comfortable [ I am 6'4" ] the interior is beautifully appointed and the go kart handling is addictive. It is the most practical impractical car on the road today. The back seats are tiny the trunk is small but who cares, its a two seater with back seat storage ! Solidly built, just drive one !

Fun & Fast
We purchased the Sidewalk Edition and fell in love with it at first site. We have had 2 other mini's before and both had manual transmission. I expected the automatic to be sluggish but it wasn't. I don't like how vehicles shut off and on at stop lights so I always had it in sport mode so it wouldn't do that. Otherwise, it hesitates. Great performance and features. My only complaint is that Mini requires only Mini dealers to perform warranty work which is a huge pain for someone that doesn't live anywhere close to a Mini dealership. Closet one was 6 hours away. It is a BMW and BMW should be allowed to work on the Mini's in towns where there are no Mini dealerships. I had to get special approval just to get the oil changed.
