Car would not start
I purchased the 2023 GLC, special order with all the options, color etc. After waiting for it to arrive, I drove it one day and then it would not start the next day. The mercedes dealer said it was the Power Train Module. It was damaged and the cause was unkown. Later it appeared to be a software problem but again it would not start, lots of noise and lights flashing. I demanded my money back and got it. walked down the street and bought a Volvo. I was very fortunate since it now does appear that the 2023 GLC has major problems

Mercedes GLC300 2023 fails to start
New car with 700 miles suddenly stops working. I have purchased over 40 cars and never had this happen to a car two months old. Mercedes had a recall on their powertrain control unit. Obviously, their quality control has flaws.

technology monster
This is my third glc300 suv and I actually liked my 2020 better. I find there are certain things about the cat that is distracting when driving. It had some electrical problems and the dealer told me not to hit the door lock twice as that would awaken up something in the car and drain the battery. I have a little over 2k on the car and just came back from Florida and averages 32.3 mpg on the hwy. The quality is great and the car is quite. I feel as if Mercedes put 10lbs of electronics in a 5lb bag.
2023 GLC AMG Continental Eco Contact 6Q Tires
First the SUV is a big update over the prior years. The issue as always is Mercedes Customer service. In my opinion the worst of any manufacturer. After picking up our new SUV we had at flat 4 miles away.We filed up the tire and brought it back to the dealership the next day. Upon looking for the leak they found a nail that was too close to the edge to repair. Now for the good part, they had none in stock but our dealer had been nice enough to take one from a new one that just came in. Thank you to our dealer. Upon review we found out the the tire was not available in the US according to Continental. The tire was for the European market only. After calling Mercede corp, Andrea the rep said in writing "should we get another flat we could get any other tire as long as it was the same size". WOW, big mistake on a AWD unit. Talk about miss information. We asked for a set that could be replaced , her answer and Mercedes was NO. We stand behind our decision. So if you have these tires don't get a flat, and if you mix match a tire on the same axel be prepared to have both handling and possibly a transaxle issue do the road. Nice SUV would I buy another, not a shot. Oh I canceled another one from them on order, its was a CLE Convertible. Now I'm driving a Lexus LC convertible. No comparison with customer service. My guess this SUV will be gone before years end. After 6 Mercedes though the years 2 had been lemoned.Nothing has changed. I see another Lexus in the future. Stay away. The honeymoon is over. Tried to make appointment for an oil change only at 4000 First factory service is 10,000. The rep at the dealer said " you need a tire rotation also and wheel balance it's required ". First it's an AMG model. You can't rotate the tires due to different front and and back. Second they are not out of balance! We still have to charge you. " Okay, how much" $280 plus tax. You can imagine what I said? Called the local Mercedes trained shop " no problem $149.00 So did the dealer lose a future service customer. Definitely Will I tell my friends that have mercedes, yes. Oh. I then told him what I did for a living before I retired. Owed a new car dealership then was a VP of one of the larger car rental companies in the US and finally a hatchet/ cleanup guy for hire in the industry. This dealership needs retraining! Lemoned the piece of crap, been very happy after 9 months with a BMW X5M
