Used 2004 Mazda RX-8 Consumer Reviews
a true sports car? yes
the rx-8 was a true sports car that just happens to have four doors. I take the guys to lunch every friday in it, and the 6'2", 200 hundred pound guy would rather be in the back seat behind me than the front pass seat. you can do 0-60 in under six seconds, and if you know how to drive, you can smoke just about anyone out there. i have taken multiple v-8's to the cleaners.
Driving Perfection!
This car was definitely worth the wait. Exterior styling is head turning both literally and figuratively. Rotary engine sound is music. I'm so impressed with this car's responsiveness: acceleration, handling, and braking are superb! They far exceed any expectation I may have had. A complete joy to drive!!

the exterior is awesome. I receive so many compliments... from bmw to mercedes look alike.
Perfect Blend
My wife laid down the law and said our second car could be anything as long as it had room for car seats. Thinking she had crushed any chance of my buying a sports car, I just grinned and began my search for an RX-8. Fantastic performance- you will not be disappointed with the lack of lowend torque unless you want to spend your saturday nights challenging at red lights... Not my thing, but listening to the sweet whine of the rotary at 8,500 rpm, cornering on rails and feeling like you are driving a uniquely designed machine- definitely my thing. Vehicle design is subjective, but I love it and after years of driving euro sedans I even like the interior. Overall a perfect blend.
Smile Machine
The smoothest, sexiest, most practical adrenaline rush on wheels I have ever owned. Yes, it definitely feels right.
