6 months 14,000 miles later, this car is still fantastic! Cost of ownership thus far has been three oil changes that may have totaled $120! There has been a factory recall on the tire monitoring system- even though I never had an issue. Fuel consumption is low, as is the maintenance. Car is loaded as I type this, we're headed to the mountains for a long weekend. Truly my only suggestion to Mazda for future models is better quality carpet and sound deadening in the doors and trunk. The car is fantastic, you've earned a new fan Mazda!

This is my second Mazda 6 - my first was a 2005 iSport that I drove for 267000 miles. I loved that car. However, when other reviewers talk about that the 4cyl engine is sluggish and slow on the take off, the 2015 is a VAST improvement over previous versions. I find my new 6 to be very responsive and quick compared to my old 6 (and a Toyota and Hyundia) . Plenty of "get up and go" for pulling out in traffic, passing and highway driving. It's much quieter and handles beautifully. It's still fun to drive. zoom zoom

Great car with costly glitch

I love the car and all its features except when the side monitoring system failed at 39000 miles and dealer wanted $1200 to fix. Mazda corp wouldn't help out. As a result I will never buy another Mazda and have told my story to dozens of prospective buyers.

I’ve had 6 Mazda’s over the years starting with an old 323. My last 2015 Mazda 6 made me realize this is a true economy car. Nothing against the good people at Mazda. They build a good car. But as for claims this car is comfortable, quiet or powerful, none of that is true. In the long run I found this a noisy uncomfortable and punishing car especially on long trips. I recently traded for a car that absolutely excels in every area I thought the Mazda 6 would. I paid just a little more (sincerely) for a BMW 328i, a truly refined and powerful automobile. The difference is night and day. The fuel economy is great and this car is a 250 hp rocket and the Mazda had a hard time getting out if its own way. My point for posting, if power and comfort matter, spend a little more on a more refined vehicle like a certified BMW. If economy and safety are important while compromising power and refinement, get a Mazda.
