Great SUV - Safety Ride Power Size
Have a Standard 2.0L AWD with 500 miles so far. Thoughts and answers to some prepurchase questions: 1. The 2.0L plenty strong with great low end torque. 2. Second row slid back gives plenty of leg room for my teen agers (more than Grand Cherokee) 3. With second row slid back - still have room in cargo area for golf club bags (laying diagonal) 4. Even if narrower than Grand Cherokee overall Corsair cabin feels more open / brighter. Able to sit three teens across in second row comfortably for around town needs. 5. Do not notice hard shifts as per some reviews. 6. Have the 101A package and seats are very nice. 7. Still getting through learning curve of SYNC3.... not bad, just different. Overall system is quick. 8. Ride is very smooth. Read some reviews that said smoothness came at expense of sportiness..... for me I am very happy with the ride, cornering and overall handling. 9. My first turbo and do not notice any lag. 10. Stop start - very subtle (more subtle than others I have experienced) and can be disabled (have to do it each time start car). But I have left it on. 11. I test drove an Escape 2.0L as well - there is no comparison the Corsair. Many reviews seemed compelled to prove this. I do think the history of the big three simply rebadging has died a while ago. Yet the comparisons of sister platforms for Toyota<>Lexus, Nissan<>Infinity, VW<>Audi, etc don’t seem to get the same scrutiny.

SILENCE!
Lots of room for a 6.4 driver, plenty of room for legs. I own à Corsair reserve with the 2.3 engine and all I could say is “wonderful “ powerful engine, a lot of equipment like the 24 ways seats with massage...wow. I recommend the 20 inches wheel on the véhicule, it change the game, it look more sporty with a touch of class.

Some Factory Goofs
I love my new Corsair. I got it fully loaded at more than 60k. The factory included the all-weather floor liners but failed to include the cargo tray which was part of the package I paid for. Also the factory delivered the wrong color (silver) bumper instead up the upscale black bumper which is part of the extra-cost Reserve Appearance Package. How can the factory make such dumb mistakes! The dealer is trying to make good on these oversights and has already given me a cargo tray. Still waiting for the bumper replacement. As I say, I love the car. But the quality-control at the Kentucky factory is embarrassing.
For Now, The Best Of Both Worlds
While the EV is on its way to being the standard, the internal combustion engine maintains its hold on vehicles used for longer journeys ... as my wife pointed out, who wants to stop at a 7-11 for an hour or so every 200-300 miles? We already own a VW ID.4 with a range just under Tesla's, and we do what we can to contribute to environmental recovery. Toward that end, the Lincoln Corsair Grand Touring fills the bill nicely. It's a plug-in hybrid (we already have the 220 setup) which gets about 30 miles before switching over, so local driving isn't a contributor to the vile Houston air quality. Charging it isn't an issue ... just a simple overnight connection. I've had it on the freeway, and the 4-cylinder engine is more than adequate ... won't win any acceleration awards but does the job smoothly and quietly. The interior is pure Lincoln luxury (the 301A package is definitely worth the price), loaded with tech. If there's anything I'd change, it would be moving the push-button shifter a bit closer to the driver's reach. Update: six months and about 5k miles later, my thoughts on this vehicle have not changed a bit. It's an exceptional SUV which performs as advertised ... smooth comfortable ride, more than adequate acceleration, luxury throughout. If you can find one, definitely take it for a spin. You'll be pleasantly surprised. Well, after over a year of ownership, the vehicle continues to impress. Other than minor tweaks, it's pretty much everything I expected. While most of my driving is local, the traditional hybrid format kicks in a few times a month. Between the two formats, I'm averaging just over 160 mpg. The only drawback is receiving less cash back from my Costco VISA, since I rarely visit the gas pumps. Overall, a terrific vehicle, a pleasure to drive, smooth performing, with plenty of zip. I recommend it without hesitation.

Luxury Feel, Smooth And Quiet
This car is so sporty and quiet as the same time. I love everything about it. My last three leases were Fords and I was happy with the Edge and Escape, but this is a whole step up! Inside it’s roomy and comfortable. I’m a tall, all leg female, and it’s super comfy. The gas mileage is good and rides so smoothly over the highways. I’ve Had many compliments on how sporty and great it looks. My standard comment is I Love It! I’m on the high side of middle age and didn’t want my grandpa’s Lincoln, and this is definitely not a grandpa’s Lincoln. I’ve had people in the back seat and it’s very roomy. I’ve had it for 5 months now with no problems and actually still finding features I didn’t know I had.
