The jewel of Lexus, 07/28/2020
2006 Lexus SC 430 2dr Convertible (4.3L 8cyl 6A)

The Jewel, as Lexus described this car when it first came out and not only because it was a precious design but it was Lexus first convertible. Its lines were inspired by the upscale and high end yachts peered in the south of France known as The French Riviera where Lexus designers spent some time capturing and absorbing the beauty and elegance around that particular region and later molding it into what is known as The Lexus SC430. A solid build, an elegant and appealing convertible with ageless lines that will blend in with today's modern designs without shame of being left behind. Power by a very dependable V8 Engine with aluminum block and heads and the vvt-i technology delivering a responsive yet efficient grunt to get up and go paired with a smooth shifting six speed automatic transmission and to top it off a rear wheel drive traction. The interior is done with mastered craftsmanship using only real precious hard wood like Birdseye Maple or Walnut and the leather used on the seats is done by Coach the famous handbag manufacturers. All the gadgets are well placed and built with quality, while other manufactures gadgets last only a few years with Lexus you do not find that as a norm, they just last and always work. I will enjoy this car along with my wife now that we are in our late 40's and we hope to keep her for a long long time.

Super vehicle. Amazingly quiet even with top down. Acceleration and braking are great, as billed in the literature. A real lux sport coupe on winding roads. A fantastic ride.

Traded a convert Mercedes for this and am extremely satisfied. Excellent ride even with the run flat tires. Elegant styling and great handling. I would have to say that the Mercedes in this price range do not compare to this vehicle. I have owned it about a month and have not found anything I dislike about it

I'm on my second Sc430 but this time I have the all elusive2006 pebble beach Mica tiger eye. This car is awesome in every way. A small car with a big car drive. This vehicle is totally obedient to ever command, from cruise to go get him!! There was only 500 of these car produced so everyone that sees it gawk in awe. Compliment after compliment. Even the new Lexus must look up to it's big brother. The stereo is just incredibly clear and loud if you like loud. Even though I don't have all the new gadgets, especially the blindspot monitor. I went out and purchased blindspot mirrors and that did the trick. This vehicle will never leave my ownership

The Best in Luxury Convertible cars

Don’t compare it with Porsche or MB, they are different animals. If you want to feel the engine, the road and handling of a real sport car go with a Porsche or SL500 or if you have the bucks go with a Ferrari but if you want to have a quasi Sporty convertible car with real luxury, the best reliability in the market, good power (60MPH in 5.8sec.), excellent comfort, outstanding stereo sound, premium amenities and you want to keep the best value in a car the SC430 is the car! Some people, disapprove the back seat, but to me it's a good thing, why? Because my insurance is not considering my SC like a Sport Car that normally is 50% more expensive expensive than a regular car because the 4 seats.
