From car to minivan...
This is my first minivan & as a 6'2" 210lb man, I must say, I love this car. It's roomy, user friendly, quick, smooth, nimble (for its size), and very safe. Yes the gas mileage could be better but for a vehicle/engine this size, it's not bad.
Transmission problem
Love the vehicle but have started having transmission/starting problems. Would not start in Park, dealer adjusted cable, now having trouble getting into Drive. Maybe dealer tech needs training. I am bringing it back to get fixed again. Only have 17K miles. Also driver's side passenger door sometimes will stay in open position and sometimes not, dealer lubricated but still is intermittent. I think it may be that the mechanics need more training.

Not so good on gas in the city yet!
Had my car for only 5 weeks now, but I am only getting around 13 miles to a gallon in the stop and starting of small town driving. I hope this is just the engine break-in period and my mpg will improve. Also I am getting a wind noise from the back windows. I checked them and they don't seem to lock very tight. Also my kids complain about the head rests and how unless they are in the up position they are very uncomfortable.
First-timer for a van and Kia
We bought the Kia because of the 5-star rating. We liked many of the features and loved the way it handle. It was more affordable than any other van we had researched and offered more than enough comfort and safety for our family. However, this being our first van, we are still undecided if we would purchase another Kia. It's interior design is questionable-like the hazard button-it took me forever to figure out how to change the radio and climate without hitting it with the side of my hand. The back seat has a middle seatbelt that comes out of the ceiling and doesn't fit anyone right that uses it. And what's up with the conversation mirror-everyone is so tiny it's of no use!
Great Fun for a minivan
I bought the 2005 and only months later had to get another. I got the 2006 and have not been more pleased.
