Kia connect doesn’t work
I traded in an Audi Etron and bought the EV6. The car feels much lighter than the Audi and more like a normal car but with much faster acceleration. It’s quiet and the finish is pretty good. Not as good as the Audi but acceptable. In general I am fairly happy with the car but have just discovered that Kia Connect doesn’t work because I bought the car in Massachusetts. This allows you to connect to the car with an app. This functionality is standard for any EV these days and I found it indispensable for my other two cars. It can also be used to track the car in the event it is stolen or make sure your kids have enough charge to get home. Etc etc. None of this works in Massachusetts due to some kind of dispute with the right to repair law. Other car manufacturers still allow their app connections to work as they recognize how important the functionality is for an EV owner. If I had known this, I would never have bought this car (or any Kia) in Massachusetts. I might have even avoided Kia completely and just got a Tesla or Audi that end up being a similar price.
Great car, love it
Very powerful and smooth, plus used the power outlet to power my fridge and lights when our power went out. Very cool.

Ev6 , don’t buy.
I have put 8000 miles on my Ev6 gt. I buy 2-3 cars a year, at first was impressed with the Ev6 now after 6 weeks in the shop getting ready to sell it once I get it back. The sound system which is very weak in these cars to begin with is the source of my problems. Sound system went out I insisted dealer install new amp they refused and replaced a speaker which was out and had smoke coming from it. They got the speaker after 5 weeks and now figured out it’s the amp the wait continues. Mean while the have me in a bare bones Sportage loaner car. I buy 2-3 cars a year and hold the manufacture to high standards the Ev6 does not pass at this point. Until Kia figures out the sound system issues don’t buy it. When the Amp goes it takes down other systems in the car. What a shame they spent so much money on the platform but skimped in other areas. Typical Kia nice car but spends a lot of time in the shop. Makes me wonder how many amps is this thing going to go through. Would think a Meridian class action law suit will be coming.

Lots of tech, interior materials could be better
There is a lot of tech onboard but some of the features, like electric door handles and HUD, are only available on top trim. Surface materials are hard plastic and fail at the $55,000 price point. However, with AWD, 0-60 is amazing!
