It's Ok
The vehicle has been in the shop quite a few times almost from date of purchase. Key wouldn't come out of the ignition? Factory radio replaced three times, window rattle, mirror separating from a pillar causing a loud whistle after 45mph. The ride is fun but gas is expensive so it turns into a from A to B vehicle. Average 16-17 in town and 18-22 on the highway. Don't use the AC or it could be worse. Not much space either. If you want an SUV buy something else. Some wagons have more room. Jeep hasn't been the most supportive either.
SUV for the younger set
This is my first SUV. While I like sitting up high, a major feature of this vehicle, there are numerous drawbacks. Gas mileage is awful -- and I do lots of freeway driving. Leg room on the driver's side is cramped. Lots of plastic on the interior. The glove compartment is well-named; that's about all you're able to store. The ride is extremely hard. Little give in the suspension system. On the other hand, it is roomy for passengers.

Great all around Jeep!
The vehicle is exceptional in all areas. The upgrades to full 4 wheel disc is an improvement. The ride and handling is well tuned. Fuel economy could be better, but the vehicle weight is a great safty feature if you ask me and out weighs the fuel issue. The exterior is the typical smooth lined Jeep history of good looks and off road capabilities. All and all I would say this Liberty is well worth the money and very reliable.
LOVE IT OR LEAVE IT?
I really enjoy this vehicle. I had previously owned a Ford Explorer Sport, and in Comparison I might have as well owned a Small car. This jeep has more towing capacity, better off road capabilities, and is superior in luxury. Heated seats, 5 disk CD changer, The list goes on and on.
Love my jeep
I have to say i love my jeep and am keeping it till it falls apart. I have owned a 2005 bought used in 2005 with only 5000 miles on it and now has 56000 miles. I usually only do city driving. It wonderful in the snow. The biggest downfall is the mpg. Horrible! That would be the only reason not to buy one. Fun car to drive and small/compact. No major problems at all.
