Would not move at a stop
I bought the new 2023 Gladiator Freedom Edition in November of 2022. I only put 2000 miles on it. I was in a heavy traffic area with many tractor trailers all around me. I came to a stop light and when I went to accelerate when the light turned green it wouldn't move!! It just would not move after pressing the gas pedal. I was almost hit by a tractor trailer who had to violently swerve to miss me. After the 4th attempt of putting it in park and turning it off and starting, it finally moved. I was traumatized over this as there were many tractor trailers traveling at high speed around me and I definitely couldn't get out of the vehicle. Its at a dealer now and I'm currently pursuing a lemon law case.

2022 Gladiator Willys for the Win!
Purchased my Labor Day weekend 2022. It came outfitted with 20in rims, 35 inch tires and fox shocks. I was driving by and the Gobi color made me circle the block. I was in 2020 Volvo XC60 R design that I traded in and have not missed. The Gladiator now has 30k miles in almost two years. Oil changes is all I have been to the dealer for. It isn’t for everyone, but I love the simplicity of the drive train, the lack of nanny computer driving assist. It reminds me of classic pick ups with modern conveniences. It has become my favorite vehicle-ever. Any day is a better day with the freedom panels off. Gladiator

Gladiator Diesel = Beast
This is a really cool vehicle with any platform engine offered. The turbo diesel however has a ton of power and will get you rolling in a quick manner. Love this thing! Update after 5000 miles this truck continues to be a versatile, powerful and economic truck. Living in the Appalachian Mountains doesn’t typically allow for good fuel economy, yet refilled an empty tank that averaged miles per gallon on Sunday. Update approaching 20,000 miles and still no problems whatsoever and fuel mileage has improved. I now never average under 22 mpg. And most of the time the average for a tank of fuel is above 24 mpg in the mountains. Still an awesome vehicle with tons of power for the platform.

Fuel mileage not as advertised
Purchase the diesel gladiator, thinking it would get better mileage and it did not.
