i have 45,000 miles on the car. overall, i like it very much. three problems i have had and other customers according to the dealer. the rear electronic window shade motor broke. the dash board has split around the passenger airbag twice now, and some problem with the timing chain recently which causes a rattling noise during a cold first start. all of these were politely fixed by the dealer, no questions asked. my car has consistently got 24.3 mpg, according to the computer.

Owners Manual Inaccurate

The automobile has nice appointments for a car in this price range. The interior looks as good as any premium auto I have seen. The care drives capably, but does not have a very sporting character. I wish the suspension was a bit tighter. My biggest problem to date is the ambiguous owners manual. It states in the manual that the outside mirrors should automatically drop when the car is placed in reverse. The dealer told me the manual has a misprint. Part of the reason I bought the car was for this feature. This disappoints me, because no one at Hyundai can tell me why this is the case. I believe this should have been included in the features on the car, but due to budget was delet

I have looked for a new vehicle for over a year. I checked out every new car in the range and all lacked something. The Azera has room, performance, class, and style. I love the pass thru rear seats. Went on a ski trip and was able to lay skis inside (my skis are a long 203CM). I felt complete control of the car on steep, wet, and winding roads in the mountains. Also got about 27 MPG on the highway. 18 MPG in city. Car is a definite winner.

I was looking for a comfortable cruiser. It fits the bill as far as thats concerned. Very comfortable with impeccable fit and finish and the plastics used are first class with a very nice feel. Got the loaded limited. I had to have all the gadgets!. The leather is soft and supple. The interior ambience is classy and soothing. Has nice touches everywhere on and in the car and the heated seats work great. The wind deflector on the sunfoof is very noisy at speeds. Not impressed with the fuel economy so far averaging 18.5mpg. (The computer is way over optimistic in that respect informing me its 22!) Like the fact it uses 87 octane though. My first Hyundai. I like it

I traded in my XG350L with a bit of worry about the Azera living up to the XG. Well. no more worries. The Azera rides, handles, accelerates, and has the interior of many $40K cars. Hyundai is on the road (no pun intended)to leaving their mark on the U.S. market. Advertise more and you'll sell far more of this very impressive automobile.

Just completed first long trip, 560 miles, averaged 28.2 one way and 29.3 on return. Very smooth ride and very quiet cabin. Only complaint is inability to turn off the information display on dashboard. Don't need to see this information constantly or as brightly. Very impressed with fit and finish. Accessories for hyundai's "flagship" are very limited. Wanted all weather floor mats, not available. Car itself is outstanding. Compares very well against Accord or Camry. Was going to buy Sonata, test drive of Azera was all it took to change my mind. Highly recommended.

Nobody thought I'd buy this car, including me, but I haven't regretted since. A lot of power for its curb weight. The other day, I had no problem keeping up with a Mazdaspeed 3 on the freeway going 90mph. Like some people say, you don't realize how fast you are going because the ride is very quiet and smooth. Of course, it also helps that Hyundai has such long warranties on it. Haven't had need to take it back to dealer yet though. Roomy interior and superb upholstery, though not leather, all the nice touches are there including the "fake" wood plastic finish. Large trunk. Exterior styling is ok, but not the best. But for a $23K car, it's not bad.

Due to dramatically different driving positions, my wife and I needed a car with tilt/telescope electically-adjustable steering. This is the only car in this class with this attribute which is why we began to look more closely. Has full memory settings for seat, this steering and mirror as well as EZ-In/out with seat and wheel receding. Amazing set of features with all safety goodies, fast engine, large interior & trunk; upscale touches like rainsense wipers, rear window shade, MP3 310 watt system etc. So far the car has been perfect. Some minor design complaints, but nothing fatal. Also, sales reps, service techs etc. have not gotten good schooling on car...so do your own homework.

After driving this vehicle for a month I have one thing to say "Wow! This is a Hyundai?" This vehicle is very quick, and agile for its class. It has a great turning radius compared to its size, acceleration is terrific, and overall handling is smooth and responsive. I drive around 600-1000 miles a week and comfort is a big deal for me and with this vehicle I haven't had to worry about it. The interior is very confortable and has many posture support features such as a lumbar and higher placed seats (Good for bigger people like me). The interior has a luxurious warm feeling to it and its spaciousness and an overall sharp looking vehicle makes it feel even better. Worth every penny!

I was very skeptical about buying a luxury Hyundai, but Azera has surpassed all of my expectations. The ride is powerful, sporty and yet comfortable. The seats are amazingly comfortable and memory seats make it easy to switch drivers. Fuel economy is very good for a large car: 22-24 city, 27-29 highway. Service has been excellent so far. We compared ride to Avalon and found this less floating and more sporty. You feel like you have a fast car, but very good at holding road and over bumps. Great car- big surprise.

I purchased this car in late 2006 & have been amazed at it's build quality & comfort. The driving position is perfect for a 6 footer. I use it daily for work in heavy Washington D.C. traffic & 54,000 miles have proven it's durability. It's a pleasure to drive. The Azera has features that others in it's class can't match.I get about 22 m.p.g. in the city, & 26-30 on the highway & this car is fast.

I just purchased this car for my fiance and myself. We are leaving behind a 2004 chevy ss impala. This new flagship sedan from hyundai is their best yet. Smooth ride with enormouse amount of room in the interior. Design is flawless, and for the sticker price of 29,075 is not too bad. Tons of safety features that will have you looking at hyundai in a whole different light. Interior was well thought out.I can say that i have had four cars and this one tops this one. but dont take my word for it go and test drive one and you will see what i mean.-Jason

This car that I now drive is one of the best cars that in over 55 years I have owned. Most every manufacturers top of the line automobile ( the automatic truck opener) that needed a visit to the dealer near my home has been the only time I needed to visit the dealer. On the highway, real good gasoline mileage and just average in city driving in the winter when we are visited by loads of heavy traffic from the snowbirds. I use only Mobil one oil and have never added a drop of oil between oil changes. My car being one of the first of this model did not come with a navigation system, but has every other item one could ask for.

I was on the fence, deciding between a Dodge Charger or the Azera. After driving both twice the choice was easy - Azera! Extremely comfortable, great ergonomics, and peppy to boot (0 to 60 in 6.5 seconds vs. the Charger at 6.3). Build quality and materials are very high quality and it has all the right nuances and amenities you would expect to find in a Lexus or Audi. My friend, who paid close to 50K for his Acura, was amazed by the Azera. Absolutely no buyers remorse at all. This is the first car I've bought that I can easily see myself being happy with for 5 years.

This is an excellent car that rides beautifully and gets decent gas mileage (avg. 26mpg) on the highway. On the streets of NYC, the mileage plummets and is very poor. The on board computer lists the average mileage in the city as 12mpg. The car is comfortable and performs well. At the parking garage it has been mistaken for a Mercedes more than once.

I was already impressed with the Hyundai reliablity having traded in my 2002 Sonata GLS w/105k miles on it. Since day one...I've truly enjoyed driving this new Azera. The ride quality, features, layout, fit and finish truly make this the best Hyundai to date! I love the fact that when you look at the Azera from different angles, it makes you think of other cars and yet...there's nothing on the road that looks like it. Pro - Bang for your buck. Simply put, what you get for your money is not going to be equalled by any other name plate in the industry. Con - That Hyundai is still taking knocks for their past failures, no matter the strides they've made in product improvement.

I bought my azera about a month ago. There were some reasons why I decided to buy this vehicle. One of the reasons were because I have this korean friend who told me how expensive this car is in korea. This car costs more than 40,000 dollars in korea. don't know why hyundai lowered their price so much. anyway it's good for me~. this vehicle performs like luxury, very nicely equipped, built, and most importantly, its price in the U.S is not even 28,000 dollars.

I bought this car and I love most everything about it, but I have a problem. My husband hates my drivers seat, he can not get it to go back far enough. I took it to the dealer, two times and they say its just the way it is, but after reading all the reviews, no one has complained about the seat, so that tells me, my dealer just blew me off or my husband is the only man who can't fit behind the wheel. I like this car and most everything about it, but I don't want to do all the driving, when we go on a trip. Can someone help?

I was very shocked when i got into the 2006 Limited SE Azera especially since I had a 1992 Lexus LS400. The amenities are great and the car handles fine. The gas mileage definitely needs improvement. I love all the bells and whistles, like when a large SUV gets behind me at night. The lights used to shine right in my eyes. Now I just hit the back reflector shade and the night time driving button on the rear view mirror. I drove up to NY from Fla in 19 hours averaged 68 mph and averaged 28 mpg. I recommend the car. Watch out for the maintenance prices to keep the warranty valid thought.

Gas mileage less than 12 mpg city; told car should have at least 10K miles before you get good mileage. Had car in 3 times; told everything normal, "that's what you should expect". Combined city/highway only 17 with >50% expressway. Minor items: accelerator very sensitive on starting; doesn't shift to highest gear til 40 mpg (told normal); keys bump against steering column; no coin holder for tolls, parking meters; light beige interior shows dirt readily.

While my dream car WAS a Mercedez Benz, being a hard working professional, and single mother I couldn't afford it. In doing my initial car buying research I discovered the Hyundai Azera! An exisquite car for an exisquitely decent price! I've had it for a full week now and have turned quite a few heads. And while my ego would love to believe that the men are looking at me in my car, I know that they are checking out my ride and saying to themselves, "Nah, that can't be a Hyundai!" Well move over Buick LaCrosse and Toyota Avalon, and Mercedez Benz, you all have some competition!

I dropped my BMW for this car and chose it over Infinity G35, Chrysler 300M, and Cadillac CTS, and have no regrets! For the money, this car has just as much comfort, style, power, and overall enjoyable ride. What's funny is most people don't know what it is, they don't expect it to be a Hyundai.. I get guesses like, Acura, Audi, Jaguar and Lexus...so far. I don't think it has as much exterior styling as some of the other cars I was looking for, but It makes up for it in Interior. NEG:.

I had been looking at a Lexus ES330 when a friend suggested I take a look at the Azera. I drove an Ultimate Package and was simply blown away. The only thing I liked better about the Lexus was the auto up and down feature for the rear windows. Past that, it truly doesn't hold up well against the Azera. I traded an 03 Lexus ES in on my black on black Azera. My husband is trading his Acura for a Steel Gray azera next month. Dealership experience as good as our (former) Lexus dealer. Hyundai has a happy buyer.

When you turn your car on, does your car turn you on? Mine does! The only problem I had was the position the highlights were reflecting on the road, but the dealership adjusted. This car is wonderful. From the sleek exterior design, the plush interior to the horse power under the hood. My husband forced me to test drive a Sonata, but when we went into the dealership and I saw this Azera I knew it was something special. Like other comments I've read, it's hard to believe there aren't more on the road.

I Love This Car. If Hyundai weren't on this car, you would have no idea. I Have to say, i traded in my '04 Maxima for this car, and the azera is way faster and more responsive, and quieter! It shifts smooth, i remember testing the Kia Amanti, and i thought it was nice, but no comparison to the Azera. My Very First car was a 1994 Hyundai Elantra, and it started to make noises a few days after i bought it, but not with this car. I've only had this car about 20 days, and it already has 3694 miles on it and no problems or noises.

I totally enjoyed test driving the car. The exterior trunk shape was not my fav but the interior design was perfect in every way. The only complaint that I had was that the test model steering wheel had two chips on the steering wheel. The car had 5000 miles on it and the owner/manager drove the car for 2 months. Now if two chips can happen in 2 months what is going to happen in 2 years? It’s not covered under warranty according the sales person. Test drove the Toyota Avalon and it is a superior vehicle in ever way though the $6500 difference is hard to justify. Though the seats, engine, and driving experience was better.

I took a chance buying this car believing that it would depreciate quickly. Who cares! This is by far one of the most comfortable cars I have ever driven. I considered the Acura TL, but there was just something about this car. Hyundai did not pump you up through specs and so on. They delivered a car for you to discover. Gas mileage has been great, but truthfully, operating time is the best comparison for city driving, gas mileage is about 0 per gallon at a light. You get about 10 hours drive time in the city. Read the manual and you will get much more out of your car.

With a bad hip from my 1st. sedan in a very long time, I'm getting back to a small SUV, with more of a straight-up sitting position, the 4-cyl. H-Tuscon will prolly be my next vehicle. With average 24 mpg on my Azzie, I can't complain at all. This was my first luxury sports sedan, driving ~2500 miles monthly for a supermarket chain, all over 5 counties in Tampa bay area. The overall comfort, power to pass/merge, and styling are it's strong points, not to mention pricing when comparing other imported large sedans. Got a sit-in recently in their new Genesis, very nice. But on this even larger car, they don't offer the power folding mirrors, my favorite cool-gizmo!

I have had the Azera for a week, but I can say that it is one of the best cars I have every driven. I have driven Lexus, Infiniti, Mercedes, Lincoln, and the quality of ride is comparable and in many cases better. The car is solid. It handles well, accelerates well and never feels like it is being put upon when driving up hill or whisking down a busy interstate during a heavy rain. If you choose this car, you'll won't be sorry. It is not a sport sedan. I would place it in the category of a touring sedan. It has power and subtle elegane. Way to go Hyundai!

The car has superb power and stability control. Leg room is outstanding. No matter your size this car is perfect. Packs a large V6 3.8 liter engine. My wife loves it. No other manufacturer can give the warranty that this car comes with (standard for all Hyundai's), 5 yrs/60,000 bumper to bumper, 10 yrs/100,000 powertrain and 5 yrs/unlimited mileage road side assistance.

I drove Jaguars for 18 years before I bought this Azera. I am totally pleased with my decision. The Azera has everything I want at a great price without sacrificing anything. It looks and drives great, has plenty of power and is quiet. Fit and finish are outstanding. It is loaded with features;a great find when compared with much more expensive cars.

This car has the quality, reliability and performance of a Lexus for thousands less. In 3 years, we've changed the oil and 1 light bulb. That's it! It goes like stink (that might explain the gas mileage), does it quietly (allowing us to truly enjoy the car's great audio system) all the while feeling secure (even our son loves how the car handles). Incredible Bang for the Buck. 3 people have bought an Azera on our recommendation and love their car as much as we do. Hyundai's Best Kept Secret.

When Hyundai built this one, the CEO of Hyundai ordered Hyundai motor vehicle division to create a model that will beat specifically the Lexus ES330 to continue their main goal to beat America's number one selling car company. After taking a test drive, this vehicle really convinced me to purchase. I realized that they've done it!! It was out performing other Japanese or German rivals at its class. Its cabin was quite as a Mercedes S class. An out standing vehicle from Hyundai!!! What they were saying on TV ads were TRUE.
