Almost Perfect
great car but seats not comfortable. could feel items in substructureof the seat.
Mixed feelings
I drove the car for 3000 miles. It is a good vehicle so far, just not very exciting ride. On the plus side: I like the heated steering wheel, the low level of noise inside de car, it has good power from the engine, it felt fairly stable in the snow and ice with the original tires. I like the conservative look. The Garmin nav is cool. However, there are some big minuses. The car feels and is heavy. Mileage is 16-19. For this mileage I could’ve gone with a 4Runner. Transmission is jerky although lately it seems to improve. The heating is very weak, thankfully it has heated seats, even on max heat the air coming through vents is tepid. Infotainment system is poorly designed and poorly coordinated with the steering wheel controls. If trying to use engine brake and down shift with the paddles, it actually shifts up, which will lead to car going faster for a few seconds until it finally shifts down. This is quite dangerous on icy roads or going downhill. This makes me miss my previous Nissan Murano.

Hurt my back so much I had to sell it
We have always loved Hondas. Very reliable, decent driving experience. The Passport has poor gas mileage but lots of cargo space. Tech features are all good. We had wanted to keep this for 10 years! But we were only able to keep it for 3 weeks because it hurt both my and my husband's backs so much. The seats do not go far back enough. There is no place to put your elbow while driving because the little flip down things don't work and aren't comfortable. The lumbar support is too low and cannot be adjusted up. The wheel, seat, and gas pedal are in the wrong ratio. Something has gone horribly wrong with the ergonomics of this car. I have owned multiple cars in the past few decades and have never had a single one that has hurt my back.

Faulty audio system
Not only was the driving experience below average for its class, but the audio system had substantial glitches even after trying four times to have it serviced at a Honda dealer. The radio often crackled loudly and sometime would not work at all. They were unable to fix it and we finally traded it in for a VW Taos. I used to think Honda was one of the best, but I will never buy a Honda again.
