Very Happy
I've only had my Insight a week but love it so far. It's fun to drive and since I have about a 90 mile round trip commute I really love the mileage. Mine is getting 43 mpg which is right in line with the EPA. Plenty of room up front and not so roomy in the back.
An Insightfull Ride
Our new car is very fun to drive and does not lack in style. We are always getting compliments on it. The backseat is roomy enough for our two young children and the hatch has plenty of cargo space for groceries, trips, and with the fold down seats could fit a twin mattress, or a large rug. I-pod capabilities rock and the stereo bumps. All in all very happy.

Hybrid tech at a fair Price
I test drove the ex at the local dealer, I was impressed with the vehicle and the packaging of the EX model. This vehicle has a nice ride and is made to save money on gas. You must realize that this vehicle is not a sports car. It performs as it was design to. I traded in my 08 CRV and bought the Insight EX. The insight teaches you how to get the most mileage out the vehicle by changing your driving habits.
Great For Long Commutes
My daily commute into Houston is 90 miles. It is great to be able to make that trip using only two gallons of gas! I now have driven almost 10,000 miles, and have averaged 45 mpg so far. I have only taken two trips out of town, and its mileage then was slightly better, around 47 mpg. It is quite comfortable and handles very well, much better than the Prius I was about to buy. My wife urged me to at least test drive an Insight, and that's all it took to change my mind. She likes the car too, but I have the long commute and drive it most of the time. What I find odd is that when I get into heavy freeway traffic, going 50-65 mph, the mpg's actually go up. I'm very impressed overall.
Very Pleased
I knew I wanted a hybrid and did a LOT of research. It came down to the new Prius or the Insight. I went with the Insight and am very happy so far. The Insight is a lot of fun to drive. It feels really light, turns tight, and feels sporty. Pickup is surprisingly good considering the engine size. Cargo area is good. Some reviewers said road noise is bothersome, which I have yet to notice. So far the cabin is very quiet. When you really do put the gas to it the engine does rev high, and gets kind of noisy, but once up to speed comes right down. It's not distracting or annoying. In our first 200 miles we've averaged about 42 mpg, almost all city driving. I really recommend this car.
