Used 2022 Honda HR-V Consumer Reviews
Perfect for me
First off I love Honda's. I had a 2017 CRV-EXL and wanted something smaller SUV. Now there really is no comparison in the ride or the amenities but the HRV EXL is perfect for me and I'm very pleased.
Solid economical mini SUV
This car is really growing on me. I chose it over the Toyota because the driver position felt more upright and It has good visibility. It's underpowered for sure, but you get used to it. The fuel economy is amazing. I regularly average 34mpg at 70mph on trips across the Cascades. The electronic driving aids are absolute trash and possibly dangerous. I would have preferred a sunroof and leather wrapped steering wheel with none of the Honda Sense garbage. My only real frustration with this car is the walk away locking feature malfunctioning. A lot. More so in cold or wet weather it seems. Service doesn't want to bother with it. All in all, it's a smart little SUV that rides well on gravel roads and does amazing in the snow. Not much maintenance required, cheap to fuel, cheap to insure.

So far so good.!
I purchased this vehicle and so far im loving how it drives! Sport mode definitely kicks it up a notch. I live in Big Bear, CA and all wheel drive is necessary especially in snowy conditions. Have yet to drive in this with snow but I definitely recommend this vehicle to anyone that wants a smaller sized SUV. More than enough space for a child or two in the backseat.
Not happy
Not happy with the "sound of the motor" Hate doing it ...I had a 2019 I traded in and it did not sound like that
Nice vehicle
If you don’t need a large suv and like good mpg. Then the hrv is perfect for you. Decent horsepower for the vehicle. The awd is good ( def not as good as reg 4wd) for back n fourth to work it’s plenty. Small fam again it’s perfect.
