Perfect fit
Came out of a highlander and found the Honda cr v exl. Price was right compared to the 45k plus highlander. Cabin is nice with plenty of room in the second row for the kids. Saw a review saying there was no spare tire, which wasn’t true for me, it’s there. Overall very pleased with the driving experience so far and love the seamless connectivity of the phone to screen tech. Overall very pleased with the money to value ratio, and the driving experience.

MPG is a lie.
Drives smoothly and is comfortable but I wish I never bought this car. No matter how I drive, my MPG is anywhere from 25-29. Dealer ran tests and made all these excuses but basically they deny it is a problem. Come to find out too late that other drivers have this issue as well. I could have paid WAY less money for a regular gas vehicle. Regret this purchase.

Great handling, but hard seats
We had the CRV for 3 months. Let me start with the positives: The handling and driving experience are really great. Coming from a Honda Pilot, the CRV feels almost like a sports car. The steering is superb, nicely weighted, direct and accurate. The suspension is tuned perfectly. As for the acceleration, the CRV is not the fastest off the line. But on the highway where it matters, there is plenty of power to pass, and that power is there without any delay. It is simply a joy to drive! Or it would be, if it were not for the hard and uncomfortable seats. The seats are ok for shorter trips (like the test drive when we bought it). But there is just not enough padding to make it comfortable for any trips longer than half an hour. It feels like the body if forced into one position, and there is no give. Now to Honda's credit: The position that the seat forces you into looks like "ergonomically correct", in a sense that you are forced not to slouch. I'm sure they had this in mind when they designed them. But the fact remains that they are uncomfortable, and my back hurts after a while. This is a subjective thing of course, so you may be ok with it. But I recommend to check this carefully. We have a few other nitpicks, such as a weak heater (it takes more than 10min to generate some heat, and even then it's not much). Also, I'm fairly tall (6'1) and when I crank up the seat high enough to get enough leg room, my head literally hits the ceiling (which is compromised due to the sunroof). But these were not deal breakers, every car has some issues. For us, the main one was the seat comfort.

Love my first hybrid
I have only had this vehicle for 904 miles. Around town and cross town mpg a honest calculated 47.4 mpg. I have only had it in Normal drive mode. Haven't tried the Econ Mode. It is easier to get into and out of that my 2011 Accord. It is much quiter. Enjoying the safety features. This is my first vehicle with a backup camera.

Nice with limitations
Overall an average hybrid SUV. Fuel efficiency not as advertised. You will get less. God bless you if you get a flat. Honda could have designed a spare! look at Toyota and others. Drive quality, cabin comfort, Road noise, suspension again average.
