I have the CRV-EXL 2023 model. I'm getting 28-29MGP city and 38 plus MBP highway. I love the interior even though it black in color meaning it absorbs more interior heat in the summer. Due to a lack of inventory I had to settle for the black interior. It has a quiet ride all around. The features are almost endless. Auto headlights that turn themselves off after you leave the car. A large and easy to see and read display screen. Heated side mirrors with blind spot detection lights. Warning sensors for when you get a bit to close to curbs or other objects (Front and back and side warnings). Cellphone charger. Just lay your phone on the charging area. Lane departure warning. And when your following to close to a vehicle or the vehicle suddenly stops it has brake assist. And many other features! As far as the negatives I don't like the feature that shuts your engine down when you have it running and are at a stand still for say 15 seconds or more. When you accelerate there's a slight hesitation while that feature restarts the engine. You can turn the feature off though! I love...totally love the fact all you have to do is touch the start engine button and it immediately starts. No holding the button down for 5 seconds to start the engine. One more thing...I love the adjustable position memory seat feature. My wife can set the set to how she likes it and I can also. When we enter the car we press the button and it adjusts to our liking automatically. Very roomy vehicle.

Good hybrid SUV... but...

Decent acceleration with hybrid power... 40 MPG combined with FWD.. quite most of the time and it gets loud when the engine turns ON while charging the battery and electric engine makes huge noise while reversing.. comfortable ride with better suspension.. However I notice few annoying problems.. No spare wheel puts into stress while going on longer trips, the driver side mirror shakes while going above 40 MPG, the rear view camera becomes black and white after parking the car in sun for a while, very rarely I've also noticed lane departure sensor failure warning while starting the vehicle.. the dealer always say they can't replicate and try to NOT fix any problem. so be aware of few random annoying issues that this vehicle makes and the amount of time you spend with the dealer and always hear they can't replicate. The hybrid battery pack is ~5000 bucks with ~1000 bucks for technician makes me think if this vehicle is worth it compared to gas.

Liked my old CR-V better

Like: integrated technology, smooth ride, super quiet, being able to remote start my car. Dislike: Cargo Area-seats do not fold down flat (there is a hump in the middle), huge gap between front seat & cargo area, nowhere to harness a dog, no storage cubbies. The power front seats cannot be programmed to go all the way back when exiting (seat memory). I have owned CR-Vs since they came out and the basic designs were always functional for someone who only buys SUVs because I own big dogs. The new design doesn't work well for hauling dogs. So disappointing.

I wanted to love this vehicle. I really did. But the number of times it has needed repair has shocked me.

I purchased this car on 12/22/22. The most important feature for my choice was MPG. After 4+ months with this vehicle I have yet to get over 30.1 MPG. December-April I got 27mpg. Now that it is a little warmer I am barley getting 30 MPG-unacceptable! CRV rarely goes into EV mode. Dealer gave me a list of lame excuses- including "MPG ratings are done under perfect driving conditions. You will probably not get the rated MPG. MPG goes down when you use the defroster. It is your driving style." Well I owned a 2013 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid and never had any MPG issues- I even got better gas mileage than the rated MPG with the Hyundai. Honda better find a fix-search this problem on internet and you will see I am not the only one with this issue.
