Best Honda I've owned
I traded in a 2008 Honda Accord EXL Coupe for my Honda Civic LX-S. I gave up leather, sunroof, and bigger engine but got a great car. I have had many Honda Accords and I was amazed how comfortable this car was. I am 6'1" and I have plenty of room. Great options are included in this pkg. The only give up from the EX model would be the sunroof and audio controls on the steering wheel. I can live without that. Great interior with the special fabric and ultra suede. It adds a little bit of class to the car. I have had my car for 2 months now and have no regrets. I get excellent mileage and a good ride. I have not experienced any noise as a few others have commented.
Navigation System is superb
Whoever thinks the Honda Satellite navigation system is somehow weak or confusing is either stupid or dishonest. It's an exceptionally useful and easy-to- operate system. I almost made the mistake of listening to incorrect consumer reviews. Glad I didn't!
I wish I could get rid of my Honda
I purchased a 2010 Honda Civic. It already had 6K miles. I should have known the original owner dumped it for some reason. Unless the road is just built yesterday, you can feel and hear the road roaring and the whole car is so light that it jumps over the smallest of lines on the road. I am extremely unhappy that I have put in so much money on this. Bought it for 16 grand. I wish I could get rid of it. Already I have changed a shock, which was under warranty and its brakes are going away. I cannot believe it . It has 18,000 miles only. I will be always discouraging people from buying this.
Love the EX
I've had this car for over one week now and love it! The fun to drive factor is out of this world regarding the 5 speed. I test drove an automatic and it just does not compare to the do-it-yourself rev happy manual (6,800 RPM red line)! The way the manual interacts with the drive by wire system is phenomenal and the engine loves to sing the further you get on the RPM scale. Fit and finish are excellent. The digital MPH / analog RPM is most ascetically pleasing. Kudos to the standard sound system. Factory installed XM Radio was my only option. The grin still hasn't left my face, even in heavy traffic as the clutch is very light and the shift throws are close ratio.
Best all around low priced car
So, love the car... except the interior, interior for this model just feels cheap all around from the visually unappealing "cock pit" dash to basic button layout for controls, and cloth on doors. Girlfriend just got 2010 mazda 3, it's interior blows civics away, from tech to looks. Super fun to drive, even just around town, but really is not that fast which is good and keeps me out of trouble. Fuel is what u expect, but uses premium, if u care that much get a different car. Bang for your buck, can't beat it though, good looking, fun to drive, reliable, car has everything for a reasonable price... except interior, well I like the seats, they are comfy, I am also not a big guy though.
