Used 2010 Honda Civic Consumer Reviews
Good first car, amazing mpg, uncomfortable, struggles sometimes.
Great mpg and easy to drive but the seats are extremely uncomfortable (lower back) after sitting for more than 30 mins.
Uncomfortable
Bought this instead of the Fit and have regretted it since. (Not sure I'd like the Fit though). The headrests are the main issue and why I didn't notice at the time I went around the block, I'll never know. They push my head forward. I have adjusted the seat and headrest to be bearable. Even my mother had trouble riding in the car with me and had to lean forward in an uncomfortable manner. I'll never buy a car with a headrest like this again. Otherwise, the car is mediocre. No trip computer for an EX trim line, go figure.
Hinda Civic 2008-2010 Break pad WARNING
My car has 16,000 miles and I am having the break pads replaced. Break pads should last atleast 30,000 miles. What Honda is failing to tell their customers is that they are in a lawsuite about this exact problem. In other words, they are aware of the problem, and have been aware but are not disclosing this problem to buyers. The break pads are not covered under warranty and honda is aware that their break pads have a 50% less lifespan than normal break pads. This is a safety hazard. And costly problem that Honda will not cover.
Fantastic car, fun to drive!
I’ve had my car for almost 4 months now and I’m still very impressed with it. The sound system is exceptional, the 5 speed manual feels amazing, even after 207,509 km. Great on fuel, (6.8 l/100). Handles curve great, quiet and comfy on the highway and great in the snow. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

decent car but does drop mpg by about 10 in the colder months of the year. summer months i get about 43mpg city driving, winter it goes to about 32-33mpg. canadian honda dealerships are apparently no longer selling hybrids because of this
