Steer Clear of Civics
If you live in a cold climate do not buy a Honda Civic, the heater is very, very poor at best. Your car will not heat up if the temp is 20 F or colder. Worst heater in any car I have owned the last 30 years. Not only that the gas mileage is like driving an SUV. 24 MPG in town and highway mix. I leased my Civic and boy do I regret it. Can't wait until the lease is up to dump this car.
It’s a Honda
I’ve owned several Honda’s over the years and they have all been positive.
Not a vehicle I would recommend
I purchased my 2010 Civic last July brand new. In the last 4 weeks my power steering pump has been replaced and repaird five times -- as well as the seals on it. Not only have I had major issues with the power steering, my sun visors have both cracked and been replaced, my seat belt buckle was replaced as it was not functioning correctly. If you want a headache with good gas mileage and a company that does not have your back when its product is defective - GET A HONDA CIVIC!
Not crazy about honda
Hasn't Honda ever heard of auto headlights? I can't believe Honda's don't have them. What's up w/ the tiny steering wheels and tiny sun visors? It's better when window controls are in center-that way you can get to them even if the door is open. I'm used to gm cars (bring back Saturn). It's hard getting used to Honda's molded seats. I have to retrain myself to turn the headlights off/on. It was nice not to have to worry about that for the past 10 yrs. Cup holders would be more functional w/ different design. Power outlet needs to be on back of console, not inside-can't charge phone w console closed. Can't drive w/ it open. Had to by adapter to convert other outlet from 1 into 2 to charge phone
Never Again
As a previous 2004 Hinda Civic owner, I couldn't be more disappointed with his vehicle. the 2004 compared to this newer version was like a Cadillac. The sets and the headrests in the new car are more than uncomfortable. You can't see the front or back of the car, so it's near impossible to park. Honda went VERY cheap with the interior and the emergency break is where you rest your knee to drive. Someone actually got paid a lot of money to redesign this piece of crap. Unfortunately I'm locked into a lease for 3 years, I CAN'T WAIT for it to be over.
