Not the newest design out there, but still one of the best in terms of fuel economy (average 34) and front seat comfort.

I traded in my truck for This car and what a deal they gave me. I asked for the TMV and the dealership didn't argue! They gave me what I asked for. I got the LX model $16,200 w/ automatic, wheel locks, mud guards, and the trunk trey. I wish it had an USB to hook an ipod to it but other than that what a deal. The gas mileage is good for around town but the highway is where you will really see the difference. It's comfortable but it could be more. The quality is great and it is a solid car. It's a Honda.

Window noise

I had problem with my new 2010 honda civic LX. I'm getting more noise from drive window site. I can't drive my vehicle on highway more than 67 mph. I complaint to America Honda about this issue. Engineer came from Honda to do test drive with me. Even he heard the same noise, which I felt. To duplicate the issue. Honda Engineer drove another new Honda civic 2010 Lx, he felt same problem on the new car. & he mentioned to me. That’s way this car designed. You have live with issue. Please DO NOT BUY this car. It’s unsafe to drive on highway.

Issues with civic design

2010 Honda Civic Hybrid 4dr Sedan w/Lthr, Nav (1.3L 4cyl gas/electric hybrid CVT)

Have had our Civic Hybrid about a year. The ignition key is way too large. It is awkward to carry in my pants pocket. It is also very expensive to replace/duplicate. Emergency brake handle poorly positioned. It is right were the driver may rest his/her knee against the center console. Dash instrument layout seems silly.

Emergency Brake

This is a wonderful car with one major exception. The Emergency brake placement and design in this car runs into my leg. The brake hurts my leg so badly that I am doing everything I can to get into another car in year or less. Please make sure the brake does not bother you before buying this car.
