Used 2004 Honda Civic Consumer Reviews
my honda
my car did die in a snow storm about s month ago and it had to be jumped. i dont know why it died but conditions on the road were not good so this could have been the reason. also since 10/03 my car has also been in a bad accident on the front end, the damage was about $3000 because of some damage on the hood and a bent grill but nobody was hurt and the car didnt get smashed up, good bumpers!!
Don't love the car
I have owned this car for 17 months. During that time, I have had to have a windshield seal reglued, the fuel sensor replaced, the cruise control unit replaced, the sunroof control unit replaced, and most recently, the gauges replaced. The gauges were replaced this week and the odometer now reads 100+ miles. Honda told me yesterday that they cannot reset it to the actual mileage--very annoying. I guess I'm supposed to live with this even though the car is under warranty. I'm not happy, and I still don't know yet if my low-fuel light problem has been fixed so that I actually can know when I need gas without tracking my mileage with the tripometer.
STILL Love this car!
I bought this car a year ago and have put 24000 miles on it, mixed city/highway. It is STILL a lot of fun to drive and I'm still getting 24- 28 city, 32-35 highway. It loves to run at high rpm and because of that, commuting is no big deal - I can stay in 3rd gear from 10 mph to 55 mph and clutch foot doesn't have to get tired. Lots of zip (you do have to know what gear to be in!), still love running up through the gears.
love it
Great car that balances everything you want in a car at this price perfectly.
Hybrid Rules!
I love this car! It's sporty, saves a lot on gas, and is fun to drive. My other vehicle is a Durango so I refer to the Civic as the "Anti-Durango". I have driven the Hybrid over 15,000 miles in 10 months. I feel comfortable in this car.
