I love this car. Since I purchased it I have spent a grand total of $30.00 on repairs. One of the sway bar links needed replacement. This car runs as smoothly as it did from the day I first drove it. Excellent mileage as well - 40 MPG on the hwy. My only issue is that the seating isn't very comfortable and after a long trip I have a bit of soreness.

I bought this car in November 2006 having 14000 miles, now after 15 months I have almost 28000 miles. Since I have the car I'm obsessed by the road noise. I put a blanket in the trunk and I changed the Dunlop sp20 fe tires with Michelin x-radial dt, big improvement, tires are not so noisy anymore and don't squeal on turns. Still if I ran more than 65 mph (sometimes less) I can hear the wind, if it rained I have the sensation that I have the doors open and I hear all the noise, when the water is splashing under the car it's unbelievable how clear you can hear it. The doors starts to shake when listening music with heavy bass. The car starts to shake when the AC is on. Noisy engine.

great mmileage, all instruments are in the right place cept for one. the gear shift can go into a low gear when you don't want it to and the site of the reading on shift lever is the only hard thing to find in the car. having no sound at stop lights is great. my oil plug came out while doing 55 mph and all went well.it shut down and wouldn't restart. i luv it.

This review may be biased since I've always owned Honda's (Civic '90 Hatchback, Integra LX '93, CR-V EX '99). Regardless, the 2003 CIVIC EX is a remarkable car if you were to drive it yourself. Honda reputation is alive and well in the 2003 Civic: performance, refinement, reliability, and value. Improvements over 2002 model are: center storage console with built- in armrest. Slightly redesigned tail- lights.
